Really good standard

Big rooms. Everything in best order, clean, tasteful. Friendly, helpful staff.
Breakfast is really excellent with a great variety of fresh fruit, bread, toppings.
The hotel is not quite in the center but you can go there by taxi within 5 minutes.
We enjoyed our stay.

Very good start to our safari trip.

We stayed in The African Tulip for the first two nights of our honeymoon safari trip. We found the rooms to be of a very high standard and very clean. The bed was very comfortable after a long trip. There was a wide variety of food which was all delicious, and the service in the restaurant was very good. The staff and management were very attentive and the general manager especially made a real effort to welcome us and ensure that we were happy during our stay there.

Good day hotel before international flight

We had two day rooms before a long flight. Nice rooms. Plenty of towels and hot water. They opened restaurant and cooked dinner for us at an odd time, which we really appreciated. Pool, weather permitting. Close to main Arusha-Kilimanjaro road.

Wonderful start to our safari!

This hotel was a great way to kick off our safari! Everyone was very warm and welcoming. There is strong wifi connection throughout the hotel (very different then most other places we stayed during safari of course). The breakfast was especially nice, as they had a wide variety of options from more local Tanzanian authentic style meals to Nutella :) We also had people in our group that were both dairy free and gluten free and this hotel was very helpful and accommodating their dietary restrictions.

Wonderful Welcom

The African Tulip hotel was our first welcome into the country and it was wonderful! The staff was kind and understanding even though our late arrival meant dinner was extended so we could have a meal before bed. Overall a wonderful way to begin our 2 week adventure
