Stayed overnight en route to Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Hotel was great, with spacious rooms, good decor and very good vegetarian cuisine included, and complimentary breakfast with a good spread. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Arrived for a one night stay on the way to the Serengeti. Hotel is very good, quiet, clean and well located. Breakfast was included and there was a good selection to suite all tastes. Would recommend this hotel
We stayed at The African Tulip before our safari for a day and night after flying in very early. Our room was clean and massive with a lovely view over the pool and gardens - and importantly the bed was very comfortable. All of the staff we encountered during our stay were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner and all of the food we had was delicious! We also had a couple of beers beside the pool watching the birds in the beautiful gardens. A very relaxing start to our safari. As we were tired from our overnight travel, we didn't venture out of the hotel so can't comment on it's location - but can highly recommend The African Tulip as a comfortable, friendly and clean hotel that serves delicious food in it's onsite restaurant.
Stayed two nights at the African Tulip -- one night before leaving on safari, and another night immediately following the safari before flying home. A boutique hotel with very attentive staff and clean & comfortable rooms. Outstanding on-site restaurant for both breakfast and dinner, and a well stocked bar. Excellent value and service all around, and a perfect place to stay!
After our safari, we spent a night here before going to the airport the following day. We loved the room, and the setting in the garden was quite nice. The food was good, with the breakfast feast being particularly excellent.
The hotel service was very detail oriented, and they did an excellent job.
We thought the bed was one of the most confortable in our 3 week trip, and enjoyed hearing the birds in the morning.
This hotel is excellent, and worth every penny.
This boutique hotel was clean, spacious and the staff very friendly. The dining menu had much to offer and was tasty. There is an outside pool (not heated) and the rooms were big with ours having a small outside patio. Laundry service available.
