“Nostalgic”

A piece of Old Taiwan to visit and for photo taking when visiting Tai Chung. One would probably spend less than 30mins.

“Back to old days”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 22, 2013

The Taichung Railway station itself is a landmark of the city. Everything is still functioning nowadays. If you have time, do pay a visit there to watch the movement of trains and people, the schedule display board, the building's interior... You may have a feeling that you've gone back to the old days.

“A world of its own”

Like a small metropolis, shopping centers, restaurants, bullet trains, buses, attached to fancy hotels and cube motels alike, Internet cafes. I really don't know what all is there.

“Busy thoroughfare”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2013

A very busy place. You can see people standing around waiting for friends. We bought our train tickets to other parts of Taiwan there.
A nearby warehouse was converted into a art exhibition hall. It is known as Stock 20. Entry is free and it is able to attracts young people there. Quite a good idea!

“Historical station!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2013

A historical building that still serve its function and busy with stop-by trains. There is modern sign board inside which provide real time train schedule and on-time status to passengers. Travelling with train is so convenient in Taiwan.
