We stayed here during the Ironman 70.3 triathlon. It worked out great. The staff were so helpful in all ways. The room in the biking section was ideal. The breakfast buffet had everything. Its a bit out of the way so you need a car to get around. Prices were ok as there were specials due to the event.

Room Tip: No good sandy beach

This hotel was famous for it's kids friendly facilities, which are true. We were very delighted at first when we arrived, the lobby area was quite refreshing and the kids pools and amenities were plenty. However, when we went into our room at night, it was a nightmare. Rooms are extremely outdated, especially the "bed". we had a king size bedroom, the mattress is extremely hard. i felt like i was sitting/sleeping on hardwood floor. I can even feel the spring of the mattress. We also ask to add a baby crib, when it came, i was shocked. the crib was like from the 60's. old and dingy. and makes squeaky sounds. To make matter worst, the sound proof was terrible. i can hear every words clearly from my next door's neighbour (they weren't even loud). and the vibrating sound of the air-con comes and goes was extremely irritating. And the resturants food (set lunch) was not good at all (tiny portion and street vender quality). dinner and breakfast buffet is much better. I think for the price of this hotel, it needs to do much better than just having kid's facilities, we had fun at the pools, but everything else needed much much much improvement. whoever is managing this hotel needs a serious look on these comments. thank you

Room Tip: If you don't need a lot of sleep at night, then this might be the hotel for you.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and the reason my sister chose it is because someone recommended it to her (children friendly). The hotel does have lots of facilities for kids but the whole resort is so outdated that we feel really sorry to pay 250 US dollars per night/room. Judging from the prices we paid, we did have certain expectations so imaging our surprise when we arrived. The floor in our room is quite dirty (we found out that they just vacuum cleaned it but never mopped the floor.) The beds are very hard. The door does not close properly so you have to really push it hard which in turn makes a lot of noises.
Not just the hotel itself is old and lack of maintenance, the staff is not very helpful as well. You feel like they are just students having sommer jobs. At least our two kids were having fun since they spent the whole day in the swimming pool. But the beach near the hotel is very rocky so you cannot swim there. The only positive thing I can think about is the breakfast buffet was quite good.
We will definitely not come back to this hotel even if it undergoes some renovation and train their staff better.

Room Tip: don't choose this hotel

Very helpful staff. They have a bus service to Nanwan and Kenting. Have a pickup service from Kaosiung Airport. They introduced us to a place to rent motorcycles. Very relaxed and friendly environment. Good breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay there. It is not a five star hotel but by Taiwan standards it is pretty good. The pools are great. There are countless activities to do and a perfect place for active kids. The restaurants weren't great but the staff were very friendly.
It is a rocky beach but great for beach combing.
The TV cable didn't work well and the beds are hard. Which I didn't mind because I like a firm mattress and there was so much to do in the hotel, you don't need TV.

Yoho is very close to the aquarium, which is definitely worth checking out.
It is however far from shopping and good restaurants.
Other than the food, our family loved the place and so did the other group with us.
One thing, that was annoying though was that the pool staff made my completely bald friend wear a swim cap. He has more hair on his knuckles than he does on his head. Kind of ridiculous.

Room Tip: Try and get the loft room. They are huge.

We went there in the cold season so did't go into the ocean, but there is so much to do there that you can have an interesting and fun time just inside the resort.
We also went to the Kenting night market which is not large, but one of the more interesting and varied night markets I have seen.

Stayed here on a group tour. It's a nice resort, good layout, lots of fun activities for kids, and great breakfast. We had the room with a loft, which offered some privacy from the kids. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable enough. But the rooms and facility really need some update. Unfortunately it is quite common in Taiwan to see something nice but lack upkeep over time. Our package came with spa, so we tried out the facility. Again, nice spa but huge spider webs in the corner, water stains on the walls, and very old towels.

If you choose to stay here, make sure you have a car or scooter to go around because the location is quite far from main attractions and beaches. We normally stay at a B&B near the beach, only stayed here due to the group tour. We enjoyed our stay though as we are not extremely picky people. It served our purpose, had good conference rooms to conduct business, great food, and enough to keep the kids happy.

Room Tip: If you have kids, choose a room with the loft, it's fun and works well.
