“Mexican and Taiwanese dishes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2012

I can say the most frequent Mexican restaurant I visited in Kaohsiung. You can find variety of choices from tacos, to local Taiwanese dishes, fried fish, kungbao chicken, tofu, calamari, and so on. Ordering for foreigner is not a problem since they have english menu with photo in it. Staff can speak english as well. The atmosphere is great, design like a Mexican restaurant. Though it is quite noisy during dinner time so not recommended as a meeting place. The food is comparatively pricey if you decide to select several dishes since you can spare a little more in buffet restaurant in Grand HiLai.

“Not that good”

Was there and order the fajitas...not that good. Paying extra for the interior decroation for an average meal.

“awesome service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2010

Not quite sure why we decided to try a mexican restaurant in Kaohsiung (especially since we're from California...) but I'm glad we did. Typhoon Fanapi greeted us today with crazy winds and rain, but glad we were able to get a taxi from our hotel to the restaurant. Decor was ok, similar to an el toritos back home. Food was 7/10. Great selection, but nothing stood out. I had the cheeseburger with fries, coworker had the tortilla pizza. I think they were having a 2 for 1 typhoon drink special, so we had a pleasant meal for 2 with 4 drinks for less than 40 USD. Had a hard time getting a taxi coming back (not that many were on the road) and so the boss ended up letting our server use her car to drive us back :) All went well until we got stuck going up the hotel ramp where we had to get out and push...

all in all, good restaurant. I'd go back again :)
Try the mint mango mojito... very tasty!
