I stayed here with my family on July 2020 after Covid 19 outbreak. This hotel has enough parking place and I could parked my vehicle safely. The front desk staff failed to give positive image of the hotel but every other things were above expectation.
Rooms have balcony and wonderful view of seaside. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Television, A/C and other electrical equipment worked properly. Maintains staff was very quick and friendly. Free wi-fi is available with good speed.
This hotel has two wonderful swimming pools. Swimming pools were very clean. When we were in pools lifeguard was always with us. They were also very friendly and helpful. Garden is also clean and properly maintained.
All the foods were delicious. The restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and nicely arranged. I am really writing this review to thank all the members of restaurant staff for the lovely food and service we received.
I am really satisfied and highly recommended this hotel.
This was our venue for the first 2 nights in Sri Lanka. Location is great as far as Negombo goes, there are loads of restaurants and shops nearby, even a fake Tesco and Sainsbury's just outside! A short tuk tuk ride to town and the fish market and historic fort and other attractions. Having said that, Negombo isn't somewhere I'd like to spend vey long in. The beach is OK but the whole place seems more industrial than resort.
Our first room was quite poor. The bed wasn't good and the A/C leaked really badly. We asked for the A/C to be fixed. They tried once but it still leaked so we were swiftly moved to another room. This room was lovely, with a much nicer bed and fully working A/C. Subsequently we had a good time. Breakfasts were very good with a huge selection especially delicious local choices.
The pools were good and we never worried about finding a sun lounger. The big pool bar was a good focal point and having the beach right there with some great beach bars just south made our jet-lag recovery days just lovely.
My friend and I stayed here for 2 days in february 2020. The hotel is located at the (clean) beach which is very nice. We had the room with balcony and sea view, this was amazing. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The first day we had a small problem with our bathroom, which was fixed immediately. The staff was also helpful (and friendly!) to help us with other things (had some problems with a train ticket).
One small thing I did not know; we arrived very early at the hotel ( around 06:30 am I think). Our room was ready, but we had to pay extra if we wanted it immediately (in other hotels we did not pay extra on early arrival).
But overall good, nice, comfartable hotel with very friendly staff. Thanks a lot Sanjeevani (yes I still think it is a very nice name :)) ans also the other staff for a pleasant stay :). Kind regards, Rashmi
Wow. What a bonus this place was. We stayed here as a group for three nights.
Every room had stunning views. The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable.
The restaurant was bloody marvellous for all meals. The food was very very good and reasonably priced. The staff we very friendly. And very polite.
Three awesome pools. A large bar outside with friendly staff.
Large grasses areas perfect for lying around doing nothing.
And the beach was literally right there. Yes over the fence. Perfect.
We got stuck a bit here with the virus thing. But the staff were very helpful.
Only fifteen minutes drive to the airport.
Best of the places we stayed in in Sri Lanka.
Lovely hotel manageress.
They even regularly took our temperature to keep us safe.
Omg. Too many moaning germans. Why is it where ever you go they think they own the place? Learn some manners. Or stay home.
This was our first night in Sri Lanka and Negombo is extremely convenient being only a short drive from the airport. We were welcomed warmly by the reception staff, including Dishan, Shamalka, Sanjeewani and Roshani all of who spoke excellent English and were very helpful. Particular mention goes to Dishan who was an absolute star in sorting out my phone into which I had just put a local sim that had failed to work. Without his cheerful and efficient help we would have had numerous problems over the next two weeks.
Our deluxe balcony room had a lovely view over the gardens, beach and sea. It was clean airy and comfortable. The food both at dinner and breakfast was excellent, authentic and a great introduction to Sri Lankan cuisine. The ambience in the restaurant was particularly relaxing and pleasant. The pools and bar area outdoors are set in well-tended gardens with access directly on to the sandy beach.
