Booked here for Valentines day as I was looking for somewhere a bit more upmarket. There are two dining areas - one is in a large open room just through the main front door and close to the street, the other is in a courtyard with a little pool further into the building. It was obviously a busy night and the only table available for us was in the outer area. I felt it lacked atmosphere and it seemed as though the tables in the inner courtyard were prioritised by the waiters.
The staff themselves even seem to acknowledge that the inner courtyard is the better place to sit as tables in this part are reserved in case a resident wants to eat in. One of the things that affected the atmosphere most however was that there was no music in the outer area (just the noise of whizzing fans) while music could be heard in the lounge and courtyard areas.
The food was good and the lobster curry interesting even if the curry was a bit overpowering for the (decent portion of) lobster. Quite a few desserts and a few starters unavailable even at the start of the night which was only pointed out to us as we ordered them. Overall, a nice if pricey place to eat but if you're going to splash out for the night, at least ensure you get one of the nicer tables.
