We returned time and again to this, our favourate, cafe/restaurant! The staff are friendly, helpful and accomodating! The foods amazing, as with anywhere else don't waste your time ordering anything western - you're in Sri Lanka and the curries are to die for!
So - good food, good service and boy what a view! On the roof you can see the lighthouse come to life when the town turns to sleep, hear the mosque sending prayers drifting over the roof tops and feel that good sea breeze wash over your sun-kissed face!
I'd even recommend it in a storm, though they're pretty well rehearsed at packing up shop and shipping you down stairs to their inside dining area where you can hear the pitter-patter of rain and the feet of anyone caught out on the street!
We felt right at home here, turning up for breakfast, lunch dinner and sometimes (mostly) just for the amazing banana fritters! They have a comfortable sitting area as well at the bar - bag it and get comfy!
