We stayed one night in September in order to hike up Ilchul-bong to watch the sunrise, as the hotel is only a short 5 minute walk from the base. The first thing to note is how spotless the room was. Super clean and well maintained with a really comfortable bed. All the basic amenities (such as a fridge/hairdryer/bathroom products) were supplied. Our room was a superior double and definitely large enough with a balcony overlooking the bay. A huge bonus was that we were able to witness some Haenyo (Jeju's women free divers) working out in the bay from the balcony. It was quite mesmerising watching them working quietly and peacefully in the distance. Not something we expected so it was a lovely surprise. The owners of Breeze Bay were really friendly, had good English and were super helpful in regard to the local buses. We went to Manjang-gul caves from here and then to Jeju city when we checked out using public transport. Can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't have it, but we did use the WiFi which was fast and good (not that you expect any less in Korea!) Highly recommend Breeze Bay, and would definitely stay again.

Indeed, it is really breezy from the balcony. Four of us shared a room and i felt it is spacious. There are enough spaces for 4 of us to open our luggages without hindering each other. The beds are big and comfortable as well.

Parking is free, however if you are coming back late, i.e 9pm, parking slots could be all taken up. You have to park 30m away from the hotel. It is like an un-marked carpark.

No smoking in the room. But there is a smoking area right outside the entrance of the hotel, marked in a yellow box.

You could easily walk to the sunrise peak from the hotel. It takes about 15mins to walk to the foot of the sunrise peak, from the hotel.

On the way there, i saw McDonalds and Starbucks. There are also convenience stores nearby. Toilets are ample at the foot of the mountain.

Stayed here for 4nights in May 2017. It was our first trip to Jeju and it was our first road trip.
We chose this place because it was near the sunrise peak and Udo island which it was a perfect place.
unlike in the city where the traffic are fast, the pace here is much slower which is something we wanted to enjoy.

The owner was very nice to upgrade our room with a balcony with very nice view. We enjoyed sunset at our balcony on our first day.

They even introduced us to yummy food nearby. Trust me, trust their map and suggestion! you will not go wrong. The seafood stew that they recommended is something that I still crave for it on cold days. It is food that only locals go to.

If you want to catch sunrise peak, the location is good, the drive to the sunrise peak car park is probably only less than 10mins, so you do not need to wake up too early for it and after which you can go back to your hotel to snooze before waking up for your second half of the trip. This is exactly what we did!

The drive to Udo island is also less than 15mins, so thats good as we wanted to visit the island for a day trip.

There is restaurants, convenient stores and even a starbucks nearby.

a perfect place for a person who do road trips.

On evening, you can take a walk opposite the hotel to enjoy the perfect sunset.

The room is clean and comfy as well.

Lastly, the host was friendly and they can speak mandarin so well that we almost thought they were not local.

We truly enjoyed our stay there.

Situated on the outskirts of Seongsan-ri, this hotel was reasonably clean and comfortable. We were able walk to surrounding attractions, such as Ilchul-bong and the ferry to Udo, and there are bus stops nearby for travelling further afield. Reception staff varied in their ability to provide information. We were grateful for clear directions to travel to Seongeup Culture Village, but would have appreciated recommendations for evening meals in Seongsan.

Room tip: Select a room with a view - others face the wall of the hotel next door.

We were upgraded to a big family room on the 5th floor. Bed is nice and comfy and the room offered an open view of the surrounding. Hotel is clean and the staff friendly. Location is pretty good and there are some good restaurants nearby (we drove though, instead of walking).

Continental breakfast was on discount at KRW5,000 (usual KRW7,000) per person and pretty decent.

Wifi though is not very fast from our room.
