The blackened chicken caesar salad was horrendous. It had so many anchovies in the dressing it was brown and smelled and tasted like a fish salad. When I commented on this to the waitress I was told, "That's just our recipe." Well, 2 years ago at the same location I ordered the same dish and it was great, so something has gone amiss in their kitchen since then. The chicken was completely dry and chewy. I could barely cut it.
The BLT was promising but the bread was underdone and the tomatoes were inedible. I don't know how they could put them on a sandwich and send it out to a customer. If they had cored them, they would have been just disappointing, but as served they were hard and disgusting.
On the other hand, my mother got lucky with the fish and chips. She enjoyed it and shared it with my wife and mother-in-law (who had the seafood spaghetti and thought it was 'fine').
The draft beer was flat (though cold) but I was so thirsty I downed it anyway!
Perhaps they do burgers and steaks well, but I guess I'll never find out!
