Amazing experience. It's like safe time machine.
Wife, daughter and I were very happy for this old house. I am sure you will have good memory with staying here. Even over 100 years old house, bathroom, blanket and all facilities were clean.
Especially breakfast was very yummy. I think host is good chef :) and very kind.
Frogs, grasshopper will say hi to you. Enjoy it.

It was the greatest house I've ever stayed! If you find a real traditonal korean house, I really recommend to stay in Ogamul! The service was so fantastic!! Thank you for having a great time in Korea!!

I loved staying here. Mr and Mrs Cho are so welcoming and kind and their daughter was wonderfully warm and friendly, always ready to help with any questions I had. Nothing was too much trouble.
It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The house is surrounded by gardens and forest and much of the food that is served comes from these gardens. Mrs Cho was often seen picking cucumbers or garlic that would then appear as a side dish on the breakfast table. And what amazing food it is. I have travelled to many places in Asia and this was some of the tastiest I have experienced. All homemade, I particularly enjoyed the Kimchi jigae. You can tell so much affection went into the food. I ate in a different spot every mealtime as there are so many places to choose from around the grounds.
I stayed in the sunrise room, which was very spacious and decorated with Mr Cho's calligraphy.
Well what more can I say. I wished I could have stayed longer. Such a peaceful place, full of history, and most importantly the most charming hosts.

I found the traditional korean house is such a beautiful building staying in Ogamul guesthouse.
There is no western bed in rooms nevertheless I slept so well hearing some cracket and other insects' sound from outside.
It was a brilliant experience since I am a city girl and had little chance to stay in a calm countryside near Seoul (actually Seoul is such a busy and crowded city)
I have no car and used the subway for Incheon airport. It took almost 1 and half hours totally to get to the airport and then get on the local bus for ogamul. Not that far from Seoul. Plus airport subway was so comfy that I could enjoy the trip more.
