“Isolated but good for layover”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013

Big plus of this hotel is that the airport limo bus operated by KAL goes right to the front door. Takes about 30 minutes and costs 15,000 KRW instead of 50,000 for a taxi. Downside of the bus is that service is only once per hour.

Service is friendly and efficient. Plenty of English spoken. Sauna is worthwhile to relax. Breakfast satisfactory. Hotel is near the convention center without a lot of small eateries and stores nearby.

So, it's kind of isolated, but you can walk back past the Sheraton towards downtown Songdo to find some restaurants. If the weather is good, this is a pleasant way to stretch your legs after a long flight and only takes about 20 minutes. Can also ride the subway behind the hotel to travel to more active commercial areas.

Rooms comfortably furnished. Small by China standards, which is where I was before. Bathroom equipped with a "squirt toilet" that washes you up after doing your business. The usual amenities, such as tea kettle and bottled water.

They let me check out an hour late. Made for a pleasant stopover.

English text :
The hotel was opened in 2010 and it all is still very fresh and new.
The rooms are very well equipped.
Exists: hair dryer, tea making facilities , iron and ironing board.

The hotel is very close to the Incheon airport in the west of Seoul.
It was built on an artificial island .
The island has access to the 3 bridges.
If a weekend fireworks are organized , then it is advisable to either very soon be back at the hotel , or only return to 12:00 PM.
Otherwise there is a mega traffic jam, as can be seen in the attached picture.

The breakfast restaurant is located on the 19th floor. From there you have a beautiful view of the " Central Park " .

The breakfast is very plentiful and certainly something available for everyone.

Because of its location on the western edge of Seoul as it is very far to the metro to the city center .
From the stop "Universität Incheon / Tomorrow City " to the Seoul Plaza is one, with one change, 90 minutes on the road.

Spent a night here on 28 Sep to catch the following morning flight.
Going there:
Bought the bus ticket from KAL counter at Gate 4, Level 1. Boarded the bus at 4B which is right outside of Gate 4. Do take note that Gate 4B boards buses to 2 different destination! Bus number 6707A goes to Gimpo and 6707B to Songdo Park. The bus schedule placard is available at gate 4B waiting area. The bus destination is also displayed at the side of the bus and the driver greets passengers at the entrance while asking (confirming) where they are heading to. Therefore, very unlikely you will board the wrong bus.

Being there:
Stayed at the executive floor. Although it was a twin room, it can barely have enough space for 2 suitcases. I had to move the coffee table and chairs to make space for my 2 suitcases. Apart from the room size, the rest were good. There was a rain shower as well as hand held shower, 2 bottles of complimentary drinking water, coffee & tea making facilities and comfortable bed. Generally, the staff are friendly and helpful. As it was raining while i was there, i borrowed an umbrella from the concierge before walking to the nearby town. I was told that i must return it on the same evening or I'll be charged 15,000won! Didn't try their meal as i was venturing into the neighbourhood for dinner and had to skip breakfast to catch the morning flight.

Around there:
The train station (University of Incheon stop) was just behind the hotel, a barely 3 minutes walk. Took the train to the nearest Lotte departmental store (ArtCentre stop), spent just 30mins there because there wasn't anything that caught my interest. However, if you are there, don't miss the shop selling the traditional Korean sweet rice cake (Gyongdan in Korean), it is located in the train station, on the left side if you walk towards Lotte. They were very tasty and not too sweet. Decided to check out the town nearby Songdo Park and it was a better choice than Lotte for sure. There were plenty of eateries just 15-20 minutes walk away and there was a supermarket for me to do my final shopping on Korean snacks, fresh mushroom, kimchi and noodles!

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a good stopover stay and also to those who wish to spend a couple of quiet evenings to relax. I will come back again for sure.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Incheon on business. I arrived well before the check-in time of 2pm from an overnight flight but had no problem getting entry to my room. The room was very light with floor to ceiling windows which afforded a good view. There was free Wifi throughout the hotel. A couple of free bottles of water were provided as well. My only complaint about the room is that it was a bit on the small side with little drawer space. The breakfast was excellent and the room in which it was served was very good with wonderful views over the city. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to the convention centre (it depends on timing at the pedestrian crossings) and 15-20 minutes to a good selection of restaurants. It is adjacent to a metro station so access to the rest of Incheon and Seoul is good. Another helpful factor is that the KAL bus from the airport stops at the door; I would recommend that as a means of transport to the hotel. The hotel staff were very polite and a credit to their employer. All in all a good choice for a business trip to Incheon.

We stayed here courtesy of Korean Air, and found it a good experience. Comfy beds, modern amenities, free WiFi.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room on the 14th floor, and enjoyed a great view of the evening light shows on the surrounding buildings.
Buffet dinner was good, breakfast was great. Gamsa!

I stayed five days on my trip to attend an international meeting in the nearby Songdo Convensia. Very convenient (a brief walking distance to the convention centre) and comfortable (spacious room and good bathroom), it was very much what I asked for. Not so good: the buffet restaurant on the top floor, run of the mill and quite mediocre. The bar/restaurant at the ground floor, where you can order a la carte is a little better, but has a limited menu.
