“Good Layover Hotel”
Reviewed February 13, 2014 via mobile

We stayed here on a layover from Washington, DC to Siem Reap. The free shuttle service is great as is the friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was good with freshly cooked eggs. Our room was very quiet. The heated toilet seat was a real bonus! A nice, clean place to stay. We'll return on our way home.

We spent about 4 days at the Queen Incheon en route to Bangkok. A stand-out of this hotel was the accommodating staff. Upon our free shuttle arrival we were quickly provided with information regarding the sights and how to get there. Very near to Unseo station. Beware, though when purchasing the T-Money POP card from the GS 25 convenience store near the hotel. Assuming that the language barrier may have been an issue regarding their refusal to refund our money for the unused portion of the card, the kind young lady at the reception desk contacted the store, to no avail. We did finally receive the refund at the GS 25 airport location without any difficulty. Would definitely stay at the Incheon Queen again!!!

The reviews of HAQ that we read while planning our trip gave us surety of a great stay.
But the hotel reinforced this by a very good first impression by getting the free shuttle pick up to us within 15 minutes driven by a very polite, well dressed friendly driver. A tip - once you have cleared customs and gone into the arrivals hall go to the Information desk and ask them how to ring the hotel for the shuttle and if you explain that you don't have any local currency then they will probably ring for you. Once the shuttle has been called you will probably be given instructions to take the lift to level 3 and then exit the building a door 7. Cross over the first road to the island walkway and you will be picked up from there.
A short 15 min drive gets you to the hotel and a warm, friendly, very polite welcome with a fast efficient check in. We were very pleased to be upgraded to a 6th floor suite, and it was welcome after a 12hr flight from NZ. On check in it is best to book your shuttle for your departing flight. Shuttles leave on the hour - that is leave, not load, so be there at quarter to the hour.
Please leave your outdoor footwear in the lobby of your room and wear the provided scandals inside your room. Heated floors and even a heated toilet seat made us feel relaxed immediately.
Plenty of restaurants around the area, just ask the reception staff and they will give you directions. We headed straight out of the rear door and straight across the road to the restaurant 20m from the hotel for traditional Korean fare where you cook it yourself at your table. A great meal.
Back to our room for a spa bath, sauna, or shower and a very comfortable bed.
Breakfast is available for a payment but we decided to eat at the airport so I can't give you any information on the quality.
Overall top marks for everything about this hotel. Thanks to the desk staff for making us so welcome; it is really refreshing to find such good manners & guest care.

Really happy with this hotel. We stayed here early January as a family- 2 adults, 2 kids under 10. We stayed in a family suite of two double beds. The Jacuzzi bath was excellent, the location very good. The price is reasonable. This is what an airport hotel should be. Totally recommended!

I was there in Incheon from 5 PM and then out in the early morning back to catch my connecting flight. They didn't have me on there pick up list since I had booked the hotel so late the night before when still in Bangkok, but they got a ride for me quickly.
Finding dinner on my own was a bit funny, but there are plenty of restaurants all around the block right out the door. Most of them are Korean BBQ, but I ended up at a little Japanese place that had good food.
They staff was quite nice. I checked into one room that seemed to am well like old smoke , even thought the hotel, is all non smoking. They moved me to a room that was not smelling of any smoke. It was actually an upgrade room level and they didn't charge me any more for it.
The room was large and the technology was quite impressive for an inexpensive hotel. Heated floors in the bathroom areas, steam shower, fancy toilet seat with many options that I had no ideas what they were! Free in room internet.
The breakfast was good in the morning and they got me back to the airport on time for my flight. I would de felty say it was a good place for a layover. Convenient and easy.

We had a 12-hour layover in Seoul on our way home from Bangkok and decided to book a day room to get some sleep after the late-night 7 hour flight and before the next 7-hour leg. On a previous long layover in Seoul we took advantage of the tours offered from the airport and recommend that option if you can.

The Incheon Queen was a good choice. We booked online to make sure we had a place. When we arrived at Incheon we called for curbside pickup and this went flawlessly (they provided detailed instructions for how to do this). The hotel is friendly, efficient and well-run. The room was surprisingly attractive and comfortable once we got the heat adjusted properly. We didn’t need a lot of amenities but the room was well-appointed and attractive with a comfortable queen bed, full bath & shower, and it was very quiet. The front desk staff spoke good English and were very helpful. Included wifi worked well.

We had scheduled the return shuttle in advance and again this was fast and flawless.

Overall we recommend the Incheon Queen for a long layover.

Arrived in Incheon in the late evening and stayed at Hotel Queen. The free airport pick up shuttle is great, called them when we exited the terminal and the van came to pick us up in 10~ mins. They also drove us to the airport the next day as well. The rooms are quite spacious (coming from a very small hotel room in Shinjuku...) and the front desk staff were also helpful. We had a few hours to spare before our flight and they were able to guide us to Unseo station to take the train/subway into Seoul, which took about 45 mins or so. There are quite a few convenience stores and restaurants around the hotel that were open pretty late. We had a Korean BBQ dinner at 11:00pm or so. Overall, pretty nice & convenient location if you were stopping over for a night, but it's a tad far from Seoul if you were to stay for a few days.
