all in all nice location. Gyoengju city has little to offer, so stay in bellus rose and explore the area on the free bikes, by the lake :) Go for a walk among all the pensions in the area. they are so pretty.
The rooms are nice and clean. you will feel at home here with kitchen and tv.
The pool was noy yhe best, so we didn't use it.

This pension is a 20 min taxi drive from Singyeongju KTX station 30.000 KRW fares. Little bit outside the main road, in a pension area..this pension is a gorgeous place with so "well dressed" room..silent, homy, and have a complete kitchen ware inside the room! more important, Mrs Park is very kind to the foreigner..she gaves us many tourism and travel information, also she lend us a bike to ride all around here!
we'll be back here sometimes

A quirky pension in a quiet location, this place is well worth a visit. the pension owner speaks enough English to help you navigate the town and provides bikes so you can take a casual rice patty view ride back towards the bus stop.
The area has a number of terrific restaurants nearby and are generally tourist friendly. You can get the number 700 bus from either Singyeongju or Geongju KTX stations. Enjoy.

The hotel is a 20 min drive from the KTX station, and the taxi fare is 27 000 won.
The B&B is simple, but very nice. Cute, good-sized rooms with a balcony and a lot of sunlight, and a garden with a small pool and a BBQ deck.
Ms Park is wonderful, she made us feel very welcome! She gave us all the information about Gyeongju, and described how to get to and from all the tourist places. A few times she drove us to the bus stop, and at the end her husband drove us to the KTX-station for less then the taxi fare.
Even if the B&B is well outside downtown, it's easy to go to Gyengju with a bus. It was more difficult to get back, as there seemed to be fewer buses going from downtown then to it, and those that went were full and didn't stop, but the taxis were easy to catch and cheap. The walk from the B&B to the bus stop was about 7-10 min, and the nice thing about it was that you were going through a quiet, verdant countryside. So wonderfully relaxing, after 2 weeks in Seoul and Deagu, with all the crowds and noise!
There are at least 7-10 restaurants in the area around the bus stop, and a 7-11 selling all the necessities, wine included. A few more restaurants, included one with chairs, and a cafe with cakes and ice cream, are by the lake, another 10 min leisurely stroll away.

Stayed over at the Pension for a weekend in Busan. The Pension is located a distance from the Singyeongju KTX station, which is approximately USD 30 cab fare away. If you are heading there via bus, the Pension is rather near the bus station, and hence, convenient to explore other main attractions as well.

We stayed at a Family room for 4, and it was really spacious and nice. The owners are extremely warm, friendly and helpful, explaining all the Gyeongju main attractions. Prior to our arrival, she also helped us arrange for a private taxi since there were 5 of us travelling together.

Her homemade breakfast is really delicious, and we felt very well taken care of when we were there, a very enjoyable stay!

We stayed for 4 nights in the Bellus Rose pension. We had a very pleasant stay. The owners are very friendly and very helpfull. Mrs Park speaks reasonably english and told us everything to make our stay even more pleasant. She explained all the Kyongju highlights and how to reach that with public transport. The bus stop is 10 minutes from the pension but the owners are very happy to catch and bring to the bus stop. With bus number 11 you can visit almost all highlights (temples, grotto, etc). At the end of our stay the pension owner was happy to drive us with our luggage to the KTX railway station (half an hour drive) for much less than the taxi costs. All together we had a wonderful stay, in a quiet environment, with very friendly owners and and a very nice room. It is pity that we have to leave.

I knew I was going to enjoy the stay the moment I saw the place. Altho' the weather wasn't helping with rain and freezing temperature, it was all comfort & warmth the moment we stepped inside the door. Mrs Park welcomed us & showed us to our room on the 1st floor immediately. Room was spacious with functional kitchen (stove, kettle, pots/pans, crockery, cutlery, dishwashing liquid, etc) & medium-size fridge. Kitchen counter extended to dining table plus 2 high chairs (like bar stools). A balcony for morning breakfast, afternoon tea or bbq. However, all that was dashed due to the rain and cold. Flat-screen TV with big enough screen. Bathroom a tad small (no hooks to hang clothes), plenty of little towels in the wallmounted cabinet, water pressure a bit weak but came into effect after some patient coaxing.
Mrs Park proceeded to brief us on transportation details (bus numbers & timetables to/fro downtown). As it's about a 10min walk to the main road, husband & wife provide a dropoff/pickup service to/fro the main road. Just a call away. Restaurants (this octopus place is a must-go - excellent sundubu stew - I don't know the name, see the attached pic) - traffic wardens guide the heavy traffic flowing into this small place. Make sure you get the KRW1000 discount voucher from the hotel. 8k stew less 1k is worth every won. Even the banchan is sufficient as a meal on its own. Plenty of dining places along the road walking into the Pension area. Altho' we didn't take Bellus's breakfast (KRW10k per guest), Mrs Park served us freshly brewed coffee right to our room.
We took full advantage of the complimentary bicycles for guests. Had an unfortunate spill cycling around Bomun Lake (caused by cherry blossom petals on the wet paths) - Mrs Park was ready with her 1st aid kit. Beautiful place run by a beautiful couple.
I gave Location an average 'cos it wasn't exactly easily accessible. Closest is a bus stop requiring a 10-15min walk. Ok with empty hands, not with luggage or bad weather.

Room Tip: There aren't many rooms - perhaps 5 or 6 max. One with a balcony would be excellent for alfresco...
