“nice place to stroll”

The group of grassy mounds give a mysterious feeling to the area and is a pleasant area to walk around. There is a nice lily pond and seating around to take it all in and to have a respite from the sightseeing.

Not much to do there except to walk around and take it all in

This place makes a surrealistic stroll preferably morning or evening when the light is soft and the shadows are long. Not much to do there except to walk around and take it all in. There is of course the golden crown of the Cheongmachong-not to be missed.

A great place to exercise and early in the morning you will see many locals exercising here. The tombs looks like small hills. The most interesting one is one that is two hills together which is presumably a husband and wife buried together. Another interesting one is the Heavenly Horse Tomb which you can go inside. The Tomb of King Michu is also in this Tumuli Park.

Also known as Tumuli Park, this hosts a series of large royal burial mounds. Its a nice place to spend an hour or two just wandering, even to sit and contemplate. You'll either get treated to lush greeniness all around or when I want, an equally beautiful hue of yellow. Like most of Gyeongju, it offers a peace and serenity away from Korea's big cities.
