Anapji Pond (Gyeongju Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond) were the secondary palace site which was used by the crown prince. It Is an artificial pond that is part of the palace complex during the Shilla era.
Admission Fee is 3.000 won per person.
From the Cheonmachong Tomb, it's a pleasant walk passing through the Cheomseongdae observatory and its flowers' garden.
If you have the chance, come here in the late afternoon or in the evening: it's even more beautiful.

I mean it's ok, but I found it overrated, went night time, quite busy, 3k won, for a walk around a pond, a bit meh.

So don't set your expectations high, and you will probably enjoy.

I admit, visiting in pouring rain did not help, but I found it overrated. But it is a short walk from the (great) Museum, along a lotus pond.

Thus artificial pond is part of the palace complex during the Shilla era. Indeed beautiful compound. From the picture it is even more beautiful at night. We came in the late afternoon and it started to drizzle so we left to explore the museum to learn more about the artefacts and Wolji ponds.

Nowadays this site is called Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond. The artificial pond is very beautiful and it is well worth taking a stroll around it to look at the beautiful reflection in the pond. We visited during day time, but I guess this place will be very magical at night.
