We booked through HotelClub 3 nights in this hotel for about 85 USD a night, room only and taxes inclusive. This turned out to be a bit overcharged for what it was. To be honest, we still don't know what else can be found elsewhere on the island in the same range of price.
As the hotel had no website, we had to believe the airport tourist office and took a taxi for a very short, and inexpensive, trip to the hotel, so far, the only way to reach there. Shuttle buses only serve south coast hotels.
Efficient staffs in a no-frills-soviet-like lobby.
Our standard room was pretty small and cheaply and/or oldly furnished, closer to a low class budget hotel than a 85 USD room a night. Of course, a Barbie doll size bathroom was attached.
But everything was there, and fully functional.
And yes, the AC cum heater control was only possible thru a call, this means every time we needed to change the temperature, we had to call, and it was done right away. As often as we wished. Yeah, a bit weird, but it worked...
The vicinity was conveniently packed with shops and restaurants.
Across the street, there was a huge and always empty parking, very useful if you have rented a car. We did from Hertz, thinking that the "city office", as it sounded, could be reach by walking there, but no, it was hidden away in a place only to be known by some smart taxi drivers.
There was a computer in one corner of the lobby that could connect us to the world, but it was busy every single time we went there.
ONE computer, 107 rooms ...

So… even if our stay was seedless, and the location great, we were pretty disappointed with the quality of the room, considering the price they charged.

The location of the hotel is convenient. I like it by the sea side. You can watch what is the show going on in the open air theatre and join it if you are interested.
It has free internet service. A computer is in the sitting room of the ground floor. Not many people use it. However, I tried to use it at night but a staff there was watching TV and told me it was closed.
since this is a 20 years old hotel, the facilities are quite old but ok. The only uncomfortable thing is that you cannot control the air conditioner. You need to call the house service to turn it on and off. The room will suddenly become very cold and suddenly become very hot. It does not feel good not to have a remote.
I paid US$77/night within Japanese holidays. With this price and the sea view. I think it is ok.
