“In need of a revamp”

Stayed here for 2 nights. Realised that the location of the hotel is not very convenient, decor of the place is also rather old-fashioned already. Not able to see any of the fantastic sceneries that Jeju is known for.
No free WIFI available in the rooms.

The only redeeming point is that there are 2 convenience stores nearby, GS-25 and 7-11, which made up for the otherwise boring nights there.

Rooms are pretty bare. Everything is there, but it shouldn't cost this much. Seems like more of wedding / meeting venue. Front desk and bell hop were good, but I would look for other options for a comfortable sleep.

Turn left leaving the hotel and walk for about 10minutes to get to main night area in Jeju City. Or ask for taxi to City Hall.

stayed for 3 days in Jeju Island. Jeju KAL Hotel is spacious, neat rooms with breakfast buffet but no wifi free access. you'll have to pay 16,000 won to have wireless connectivity for 24 hrs. free 1 bottle of water in every hotel. Hotels in Seoul & Busan have that same free 1 bottle of water. They do have a Casino but you need to exchange your USD 300 to be able to play in a card game; then that'll be the time they'll allow you to play. If you only change USD 200 or any less than USD 300 you won't be able to play.

Jeju Love Land is very silly x-rated theme park. not for children.
Jeju have the best Honey & chocolates in the whole South Korea; so don't forget to buy them from here.

Jeju Glass Castle is impressive, the Maze Park is unique.
We did enjoy the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum as well as the Teddy Bear Museum.

Room Tip: all rooms were just the same, just good enough to have a good night sleep. Location - nothing to ro...

The main restaurants close at 9pm! The keycard lists the facilities but neglects to mention this. I was sent to the chinese restaurant which closes at 10pm, BUT last orders are 9pm, so same result. Room service is totally lacking in variety. Never heard of anything so ridiculous. 9pm! I will never stay in a KAL hotel ever again. Shocking service and the staff dont care at all.

Room Tip: choose another hotel

Booked this as a last minute accommodation for our 2 days visit of the Jeju island. Hotel is remotely located at the end of what can best be described as a village island. Set on good grounds, though, by the shore line, like many other hotels in the area. Nothing is nearby and no taxis. Have to wait in queue for the only shuttle bus to rescue you to any place of interest.
Dated and basic hotel rooms and amenities.
Hotel is a Korean Airline affiliate, probably for their stranded passengers only.
There are private citrus orchards near the hotel if that catches one's fancy. Nothing there to see IMO except one is just getting to know that oranges come from trees. Stumbled upon a local Korean restaurant while 'strolling out of the boredom' in the hotel. Though we had a lovely experience at the restaurant, that was about our only highlight of the visit. Sure won't be back.

This hotel is rated 5 stars but actually isn't up to that rating. The bathroom is old equipped. AC doesnt work properly. Luckily it shares good scene just like those neighboring big hotels in the zone. Next time i will stay at Shila or other around since Kal is very remote. Almost no public transportation except the bus. No shuttle bus to the airport. Housekeepers dont know basic English. Hotel people lack of smile.

I find Jeju quite boring and still wonder why it is in the list of 7 natural wonders of the world. The waterfalls there remind me of beautiful Vietnam landscape. Unluckily that Vietnamese doesnt know how to do tourism business and service is too bad. No way it can compete with those natual waterfalls in Buon Me Thuot (Vietnam). Other places are Malaysia, Fiji. In general, Jeju is peaceful, nice and just that.No street sign in English. Local people dont speak English. If you are looking for a "Wow", go to other places.

Service ugly. Rooms not great. Globally the hotel is old and dedicated to produce a good service to staff of the airline company only. Indeed, Kal hotel is a subsidiary of Korean airlines. There are better and cheaper hotels in thre City. Our worst hotel in Korea.

Room Tip: Fridge very noisy in the room
