“Good location, good price”

I like to stay at this hotel due to its good location which is very close to many places that make it convenient. And as I write at the title above, the room rate is very reasonable. Besides, the room was clean though it's a bit small. Anyway the Motel is a good one to stay for your visit in Busan.

the word "motel" did not attract us but we really did want to stay close to the train station and only had a day in Busan and didn't want to spend a lot on accommodation either...so based on the reviews we found here, we gave this place a try and was not disappointed..just half a block from the train station which was exactly where we wanted to be..we paid like US$30-35 for a double room (the cheapest we paid during our S. Korea trip) and we got a room with a mini-fridge and a computer with wi-fi (!?)..the room was clean enough and bathroom had a tub (unlike most Korean guesthouses where the shower is right above the sink/toilet)..guy at reception was always nice and gave advise on what to see/do during our short stay. Will stay here again if ever back in Busan.

The motel is really convenient, except they did not update their location map accordingly, the landmark given in the website stating we should turn at in at Plaza Tourist Hotel, in now changed to Gwang Jang hotel.

It really value for money, after spending close to a week in Seoul, I do not have much expectation on a room, as a guesthouse room in Seoul is really small, Pusan Inn's room is considerably big for an Inn standard, it is a sizeable and comfortable bathroom, plus it is so easy to get to anywhere, literally 1 minute walk to the Busan station, be it to KTX or metro station, nearby many eateries, I just love this place , I will definitely return to this Inn if I were to visit Busan again!

Whilst being slightly worried about Korea's "love" motels, I decided my tight budget meant I had no choice, so I chose Busan Inn Motel.
It was a great hotel! Close to all transport, food, and quite central. 3 subway stops away takes you to interesting places, or... why not just walk?! A leisurely 30min walk also takes you to many famous sights in Busan.
Hotel room size, bed, air-con, bathroom, TV, fridge(!), and FREE toiletries, all great - and unexpected.
-- this Hotel was also cheaper than 2 of the back-packers I looked at online. Not only that, but I had a double room, to myself - no sharing a smelly dorm with strangers!

PUSANINN does its job well below the average ensuite offered by its competitors, which are usually not as well maintained and convenient as Pusaninn. But the location is not the best for the Haeundae area and airport.

PROS

Value: 35000W for a clean room with its own fridge, TV (dominated by Korean channels though) and well-sized private bathroom. The bathroom is particularly large, clean.

Close to Busan Station: Five-minute walk from the KTX station and just a metro station from the jet-foil ferry to Japan. Relatively close to a few attractions in the south too, but not all of them.

Speedy Internet: WiFi and wire connections are both available and you may know Internet in South Korea are of lightning speed.

More amenities: in-room hairdryers and drinking water on each floor: take paper cups on first floor if you need one.

RESERVATIONS

Inconvenient for Haeundae/airport: A lot of great spots in Busan are located in the north and the airport is far in the west. It takes over 30 minutes for anywhere farther from Seomyeon and it was an hour coach ride for the airport. Check bus services on Google Map when it takes more than one transit for a metro ride.

Inconvenient socket: I had to plug my laptop charger on the wall socket next to my bed and had the wire hanging across the room to use the laptop on the desk. Not a reason to not stay here anyway.

CONS

Stairs only: Hard time for visitors who broke the bank for cheap cosmetics at Busan and given a room on fifth floor. You may also break your back too.

Dirty Towels: All of the towels were worn or came with a certain stain. Bring your own towels.

WHAT'S NEARBY:

A tourist information kiosk is inside the train station and it closes late after 7pm. The airport coach (3500W) station is just outside the Busan Station, behind the public bus stop. Ask the tourist info kiosk for a timetable. Cafes and value eateries are available opposite and inside the train station. Taxi station is a few steps away from the hotel near the station.

Room Tip: Stay on the lower floors and no room has view.

For those well versed in budget travel in South Korea, or anywhere else, you will be pleased if you choose this hotel. It is very, very basic, but that's what you get for the price you pay. I booked a double room for one week for $200 Canadian. The room included a small fridge, a tv (which I never used), a desk, a reasonably comfortable bed, and a bathroom.

The bathroom is the typical "Budget Style" and consists of a faucet with an attached shower head on the wall, a toilet and a drain in the middle of the tiled floor. I'd stayed in a similar room in Seoul last year so was prepared for this. You get towels, but they are very tiny. I always make sure to pack my own towel for situations just like these. The room has wall hooks and clothes hangers, but no dedicated storage for your clothes or bags.

The front desk is helpful and friendly, but their english is very limited, but enough to get by. They have free wifi and offer a laundry service as well.

Location, location, location! I spent a week here as I wanted to explore Busan and the surrounding area of Gyeongju for more than just a couple of days. I took the KTX from Seoul and took the escalators down the upper floor main exit, turned right, walked past the taxi pick up zone crosswalk, and about 25 meters on the left hand side of the street was the hotel. The Line 1 Busan Station subway is directly across from the train station so you are a 2 minute walk to either the train or subway and it's a farely central spot to many areas of interest.

Subway travel times:
Sajik Stadium (Lotte Giants Baseball) 35 minutes
Haeundae Beach, 35 minutes
Jagalchi Fish Market, 5 minutes
Gwangalli Beach, 25 minutes
Beomeosa Temple, 40 minutes
Yongdusan Park/Busan Tower, 5 minutes
UN Memorial Cemetery, 25 minutes
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, 40 minutes, then 20 minute bus (YOU MUST VISIT THIS TEMPLE IT IS STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL!)
Inter-City Bus Terminal (for day trips), 40 minutes
Chinatown, Jungang Park, Democracy Park. 20 minute hike up the hill, no need for a subway.
