near the beach & BEXCO

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Oct 28, 2012
I stayed in the twin room. It gives me the feeling of HOME.
there's living room and kitchen. Open the curtain u can see a nice parking lot of BEXCO.
Surround the hotel, there're lots of shopping departments esp. the brand items. Taking a cap around 5 minutes, there's another shopping area, club, food, ....awesome :)

You can walk to the subway station in less than 3 minutes.
In addition, it's super near the aquarium.
The internet in the room is not free.
It takes 45minutes to go to the airport via Airport Limousine Bus
Date of stay: October 2012
Room Tip: careful with smoking room if you don't smoke.

I stayed at this hotel because it is just next to the convention centre. The hotel room is big and with an equipped kitchen. 2 big shopping malls are next to the hotel while 5 mins walk to the metro.

But I don’t like their bathroom design while the water will be easily splashed onto the floor during shower. The hotel should provide a shower curtain in the bathroom! Besides, there are no bathing stuffs, toothbrush and toothpaste provided for free. You could buy them from the hotel while the stuffs are just placed in the room.

Many cafes around the hotel but good restaurants could only be found in the shopping halls. If you are going to stay at this hotel, I will recommend you to try the Spaland at Shinsegae shopping mall. The entrance fee is 14000 won (around USD13) for 4 hours during daytime. This price is so attractive that you could enjoy hot spring and spa there. Very relaxing!!

The hotel is across the street from BEXCO convention center and very close to enormous Shinsegae department store and not much smaller Lotte store. It is located in a new part of the city very close to subway but not so much to any tourist attractions (Cinema center is an exception - 15 min walk). The rooms are furnished in a sort-of-Asian style, very clean, quiet (even those facing the main street) and spacious with all amenities including fridge and a kitchenette behind a screen. The only drawback are hard (Asian-style) beds and total lack of WiFi (even paid) in the room. There is a cable for internet connection but since it was around $20/day I did not use it. There is free WiFi in the lobby and you will see a cluster of people with phones and laptops congregation on three sofas there even in the middle of the night. There is no breakfast offered but in the hotel there are at least four food places at different price ranges and more across the street at the convention center.

The location is great being close to big shopping malls and great restaurants.

However, the front desk staff needs training very badly on customer service. This is compounded by the fact that they speak very poor English. This makes it a very unpleasant experience as this is your first contact with the hotel.

My toilet was an absolute nightmare. Just to list the problems:
1. The shower area is extremely badly designed. Everytime you take a shower water flows from the elevated bath tub/shower area along the edges to the rest of the toilet area. It is a design fault and not because I am messy bather. In the end, I had to resort to laying towels along the area where the water would drain into the other toilet area to prevent that area also from getting wet.

2. The hotel does not believe in providing bath towels. They just quite small towels even for wiping yourself after a shower.

The hotel is quite clean and has modern facilities. The rooms are quite good.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in July, while on vacation from teaching in Seoul. We were very impressed by the room and the hotel in general. The room was very clean and much larger than we expected. Check-in was simple, although we had to wait a little extra time for our room to be ready, and the front desk and concierge staff were very friendly and helpful. One even tried to book a tour for us and gave us advice on attractions to visit. The bed in the hotel room was hard, but both of us slept fine all 3 nights we were there.

The location was also perfect for us, right in between the two popular beaches and next to the department store. Plus the subway was only a couple of minutes from the front door of the hotel. I would reecommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Busan and looking to see a nmbe of attractions.

I visited there for summer vacation with my family and non of us liked the room.

Location : It is good if you are business man or woman. It is located right next to Bexco
and there is the biggest department store that you can easily shop for your family
and friends however it is 3stops away from Heaundae beach
If you are expect to see the sea view this is not the place you should go.
You will still feel like you are in the city and not have VACATION MOOD.
because there is only tall buildings.roads and cars which is definitely not have good
views from your room

Breakfast : It is okay that have bread, fruit, coffee, milk and some meat
but the hotel gives you only 2coupons per day. so if you are four people you must
pay 16,500won per person. so for the coupon it is good enough.
but if i have to pay for the price i wouldnt go there.

Room condition : This is the most important part. This is a hotel that has a sink and a stove
but does not have a pot or a knife.
i am not sure if the sink and the stove are useful for the other people but my
family couldnt even use anything. i think they'd better stuff more kitchen
appliances.
Mostly i didnt like the air in the room. i am not sure how to explain
but it was very difficult to breath ( This is not only my opinion but also my
familys)

As a conclusion, I would not visit again if i have to pay.
The thing that i didnt like the most was AIR in the room and corridor
I like to travel to everywhere including abroad but i have never experienced HEAVY AIR (difficult to breath) but since there are so many foreigners they might like the hotel.
oh the staffs were kind to me!
