So, we were in Albany as a stopover for a trip east, and the girl at the Holiday Inn said this restaurant is not a chain, and is locally owned. Bingo. I like that. We arrived at 8:45, and they stop serving at 9! They did not mention this, but we found out, because at 9pm or so, we had the whole place to ourselves, like we rented it! The service was outstanding. We happened to be there on a Monday, and the full size pasta meals are half price! Great coincidence! I tried the lasagna, and my wife had the lobster pasta. Fantastic! We also had the salad with the 'crunchy' goat cheese, nuts and pear and apple slices. Wow. And the bread? They asked, and I said yes please. The fresh hot bread served with oil and balsamic, as well as a tapanade! Get it. You will thank me. And it didn't add a cent to the meal. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Appreciated your good service and looking after us so late!
