We come to taste the great beer each time we visit Albany. This trip we just had calamari which was a bit bland and was sitting on the marinara sauce which I didn't love as it made the calmari progressively more soggy. However, the southwest salad that I had on a prior trip was great and the beer and atmosphere will continue bringing us back.

Love the beer and the food is great. The chili is a good choice. Sometimes the servers are not the friendliest, yet other times they are great... hit or miss with that sometimes

A typical, but better-than-average American brew pub. Good beer variety, decent menu with adequate vegan/vegetarian options and a great location.

The Albany Pump Station is a great place to meet up with a group of friends for a beer and some decent food. The food is usually hit or miss but, the atmosphere is usually really good and social so, you don't notice the food.

Located in the old Albany waterworks building, this place is more often referred to as The Pump Station by the locals. The food was very good, but a bit pricey, overall. However, we both got a BBQ special that included appetizer & dessert that was a better bargain than most of the other menu items. This place is worth trying for the atmosphere alone, and their beers seem to be well regarded. I had the pear cider instead, which was on the sweeter side, but very good. Our server was excellent! This restaurant was recommended by the truly friendly shuttle driver from our hotel, and I wouldn't hesitate to go there again.
