I had a great experience here with a large group of friends and family. Very good beer, and a large menu that satisfied a diverse crowd. The steamed clams, in particular, were delicious. Everyone seemed happy with the hearty sandwiches and burgers we ordered. The service was commendable - friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back again this year.

overall average pricy menue and beer selections, good casual dinner and a couple of drinks. Atmosphere is very good only criticism is it is a little expensive.

The food is typically very good, the beer is tasty. The staff is usually pretty slow and will walk right past your table without asking if anything else is needed, empty glasses filled, etc. Even when business is slow the wait staff is certainly not as good as it could be.

The beer choices are excellent. The staff was attentive. The food (prime rib) was less then desirable, poorest cut of prime rib I've had between Las Vegas and Boston. The Filet Mignon was above average. They cram way to many tables into to little space. I should not be able to hear the the conversation of the tables next to us. Cut out the tables for two between the other tables as a minimum to improve this.

The 1785 Menu is a three course dinner for $17.86. This meal includes appetizer, dinner selections, and dessert. A wide variety of selections are found on this menu. As a group of six we came during the dinner rush without a reservation. We were seated in about five minutes and were immediately greeted by our server. Great setting for great food with great service.
