“Needs renovations, which they're working on”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2012

The staff does a good job of making up for the state of the house currently. When we last visited, most of the belongings were packed up in preparation for renovations. Staff would describe what used to be in a room, which was a bit strange having to rely on your imagination, but there was enough in the basement in terms of pictures and descriptions that you could get a feel for what the house looked like back in the day. Parking was tight but seemed adequate given the small numbers of visitors the house receives.

“Excellent- a very different and unique house tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2011

The house is currently undergoing a major restoration process and therefore the house tour focuses on the restoration process and why the house needs to be restored. The tour provides a unique opportunity to see a historic house in the middle of a major restoration. The tour guide was fantastic in explaining the history of the family and why it was important for the house to be restored and the process the museum was going through to restore the house. I highly recommed visiting this site!

“Kind of boring”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2005

I've been to Cherry Hill twice. It was OK the first time, but just boring the second. It's just an old house with old artifacts like stoves, furniture, etc. Not really worth the admission price.
