I saw the Victor Wooten concert here last week, and I was really impressed with the place. The auditorium is fairly large, with a seating capacity of almost 1,000, which curve around in amphitheater style, with seats inclined at such an angle so that everyone has a great view of the stage. The acoustics are perfect throughout too. I had seats in the front row, but I also stopped to listen from the back when I made a rest stop, and felt that it was great from the back as well.

One small warning about this place; use the bathroom before your concert starts, as you have to walk all the way to the top to get to a rest room. It's a long way up, especially if you have any problems going up stairs in the dark.

Attended an event at the Egg, caught a bite to eat, and visited local vendors at the boutiques set up inside. Bought some lovely locally made Christmas gifts.

Theaters are very nice but it's not an attraction in and of itself. Musical performances in the Egg are affordable and accessible.

The Egg is unique, on the inside and out. If you go more than once, you may wonder if it is the same place...because there are a couple of theaters inside! The lobby is rounded and painted a deep yellow, like an egg's yoke.Be sure to check out the display near the elevators that shows how the Egg was constructed. There is no other place like it on Earth!! Sound quality is excellent for shows, and intimate for any performance.
