I had come to Albany for my friends wedding it was amazing this hotel was the best I been to so far the breakfast, private room and restaurant so close by, car service, pool and jacuzzi most of all the owner was really nice even though his night staff need more training since they wanted to hustle me for 300 a night I ended up paying 150 for two nights. Over all the hotel has breakfast included from 630am to 930am you get to come down and make your own waffles after a good night of drinking coffee and the juice makes a difference. Thankyou :-)

Room Tip: You don't need an expensive room all is available in a cheap room if you traveling solo.

We stayed here in August 2013 on a Saturday night, and it was very busy. The room was in the main motel section and was clean and in good condition. They had a continental breakfast with cold cereal, bagels, etc. in the higher-rise building in the back. It's very convenient to downtown Albany and suburban areas. The check-in was fine and many families with young kids were around the hotel. It's a good place for families that don't need a fancy hotel experience.

The price and the amenities were good. The staff is very efficient and the rooms are kept clean. I would reccommend this hotel, not for its proximity to the Capital area, but also for the free breakfast.

This was a pretty terrible experience. The room was actually filthy. Behind the night stand and beds there were lots of crumbs, dust and sunflower seed shells. It hadn't been cleaned back there in years. The wall had a weird kind of greasy stain on them. It was difficult to open the door to the room due to a high rug. The TV was old fashioned. The bathroom was not clean, and there was wet soap from some previous guest in the shower. The inside of the shower curtain had mildew in the creases. The mattresses were older and not very comfortable; I had lower back pain the morning. The clock and alarm clock did not work. The breakfast was fairly low quality; the coffee was just passing. The walls were paper thin and late night (loud) guests on the balcony sounded like they were IN our room with us. My daughters were frightened.

Room Tip: Can't really say.

We have been travelling round North America for 6 weeks now and this is the worst place we have stayed. It was booked and prepaid from the UK (where Days Inn properties are of a much higher standard) and had we been staying for more than one night, we would certainly have checked out.

Whilst the bedlinen and towels were clean, the carpet and paintwork were not and there was a piece of used Band-Aid behind the bedside cabinet, which looked as if hadn't been moved in years. Staying here in winter must be dire as there is a clear gap round three sides of the door. The very elderly TV just added to the air of neglect. We elected not even to look at the pool, just in case it was as unhygienic as this smelly room, where the air is so bad that it leaves a dreadful taste in our mouths. Awful, awful, awful.

Room Tip: Go elsewhere!
