Stayed here two nights in March 2010. Hotel is on Rt. 20, on a direct line to the center of Albany about five miles away. Ideal if researching at state library or archives. Area was fairly quiet. Room was clean and well-kept, but basic. No room safe, microwave, etc. Absolutely zero closet space. Tiny bathroom. One glass panel alongside a corridor door was cracked.
Front desk provided cable for free Internet access. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient, provided accurate directions to nearby diner which had very good food and reasonable prices.
Hotel's included continental breakfast was the only minus: rather stale pastries, an orange juice machine that issued slightly flavored water, no hot food beyond what fits into a toaster was offered.
Pleasant enough, this hotel provides a clean room. Price was perhaps a bit high given lack of amenities.More
