Owner description: This small, serene beach is among the most beautiful on Praslin Island.
Reviewed June 6, 2012

This is the best beach on Praslin but very difficult to reach, thus not recommended for people with small kids or with disabilities (very difficult walk).
-book your visit in advace, preferable through e-mail (I tried by phone as well but it did not work), note that your name would probably be misspelled by hotel management (hardly found my name in visitors list)
-note that buggy drivers are not allowed to transfer outside visitors (even if you are with small kid who can not walk).
-way to the beach is uphill, so do not take heavy pack with you
- if you are travelling with small kid (as we were) would advise to take stroller
-car should be parked 50m before the entrance gates
-hotel restaurant is not on the beach and if you plan you will have to walk there as well
Good luck!

This beautiful beach has been incorporated into the Constance Lemuiria resort. It is still a public beach and in theory they cannot stop you visiting - however they make it difficult! Firstly you have to book - it is often 'busy!', then they make you park 500 yds away from the gate and then walk for 45 minute through the golf course to get to the beach. A pleasant walk but VERY hilly - and in the heat carrying beach things a bit of a struggle. You can get a water taxi round from Volbert. Guest at the hotel can use the golf buggy, but visitors are not allowed on. It is a disgrace that a large company can do this - and I would urge visitors to go simply to keep the beach available for everybody.

Access to the beach is via Lemuria Resort Hotel so you have to call and reserve in advance which we tried to have our hotel arrange for us, but it was not possible as the Lemuria was running at high occupancy. Luckily our driver was able to arrange it and it was worth the 15 minute hike to the beach. Note it is a fairly steep 15 min. walk to the beach if you don't stay at the hotel.
It was like being on paradise when we arrived, the softest white sand, crystal turquoise water, simply breathtaking. This has to be one of the best beaches in the world. If you can't get in take a boat there ! The only downside was the waves.
Make sure you have water and food if you want to spend the day there. hotel guests can have a picnic basket prepared as we noticed was the case for some guests.
Do make the effort and you will not regret the experience - just take a look at the attached photos!

Probably my favority beach in Seychelles, although it seriously competes with Anse Lazio, Anse Intendence (Mahé) and Grande Anse (La Digue). But what I really like abou it is the fact of being smaller and more isolated.
Probably a bit of a hassle to get there if you are not staying at the Lemuria.

One of the best beaches in Praslin (Anse Lazio is a bit better), beautiful. Only problem is that you have to go through Lemuria hotel and this means: a) You have to have clearance from them to enter the resort and b) walk for about 20-25 minutes.

Note: defintely have water with you (and anything else you may need to drink or eat) as there is nothing on the beach except from sand and trees!
