Owner description: Resplendent with exotic birds and trees, this crescent-shaped two-mile beach is still pristine.

It is an average beach compared to other Praslin beaches. The sand is soft. It is a very long beach thus you can enjoy a long walk. There are few restaurants near it which serve decent food.

Sea and currents vary sensibly in the Seychelles from month to month. For January, I would not waste my time there! It's beautiful, but not good for swimming at all! If you just look for lying under the sun and some relax, it is ok, but if one looks for more, there are other better beaches on Praslin.

Anse Volbert is a great tourism area on Cote d´Or in Praslin Island, second largest island on Seychelles. It has a fantastic beach with clear and blue water and white sand. Fron this beach you can go by boat to small island around and explore. There is lots of restaurante and souvenir shops around this place. You shoul visit while in the island.

Is good for swimming and playing at the beach. Sometimes some seagrass. Not so good for snorkeling (sandy)

The beach here is great for children. The sandy bottom stretches out for a hundred meters and does not get very deep. The water is clear unless it has recently rained. Don't try and lay on the beach as the sand flies are bothersome. A lounge chair at the Paradise Sun Hotel is a much better place to lay.
