“Lively beach”
Reviewed May 25, 2013

For Praslin, the beach was the most lively of them all. It was the only beach on which I have seen local people taking their time off. Not having only tourist was smth nice for a change. In addition the beach offers the Seychelles usual: white powder like sand, blue hot waters, nice rock formations and temperature just right to sit in the water (or swim) and relax.
Easy to get to by car, bus. A few good restaurants, ice cream parlour and a few hotels.
Have been here 4 times actually.

“Beautiful long beach”
Reviewed May 17, 2013

Our first day on Seychelles started from walk through the Anse Volber (our hotel Villas D'Or is located just by ) Beach is having really white sand and a lot of crab holes:) It's very long - about 2 km. A walk is taking aproximatelly 20 -30 min, depends how fast you are walking. From the beach you can see Small private island, just by It St. Pierre and La Digue further.
We have meet no more than 10 people..so we can came to conclusion that it is a very quiet beach . Every day we were expirancing something new on that beach..people walking , running ...peace and quiet ...for us it was as beautiful as anse lazio
Beach Tip : There is a great snorkling place - on the middle of anse volubert there is a Private Island that you can reach by walking on a shallow ocean, around it you can find tourtles , eagle rays, big fishes .

“Great beach”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

Great beach for children, soft sand, safe water, but shallow for swimming, and plenty of shade in the afternoon. Beach boys are around selling boat trips etc, but they are fine if you say no thank you and just go away.

“Excellent place to have a swim”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

Fantastic beach to take a walk and a swim and it's accessible just off the main road. The sand there is really fine and milky and the water doesn't get deep too quickly. It's not a busy beach but for a good experience, try to go to the right to get away from all the boats. The water quality is much better over there.

“Beautiful wind sand in "downtown"”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

This is a lovely beach right in the middle of the island with restaurants and shops closeby. Our hotel was quiet close to it and we walked everyday to this beach. Definitely go there if you are living on Praslin or visiting this island.
