We visited Brendan Grimshaw's Moyenne island sometime in March 2012 , it was a enjoyable trip on Catamaran. Met the man himself and his giant tortoises.
The island is well preserved as a natures gem and untouched by commercial ventures, thanks to Brendan. Learnt that he passed away a few months later.
hope the island survives without him.

We went on a trip with Masons around the marine park stopping at Moyenne. We enjoyed the trip although we were hoping to go on the semi submersible to enable our 5 year old to see more fish life, the sub was not working so we ended up on a catamaran. Enjoyed the fish feeding and swim, but found the cat trip a little too long. Moyenne is worth a visit, there are Giant tortoises all around the island which our son loved and we had a walk around the island which was fun. Nice to visit an island that will be kept in natural state. Brendon Grimshaw could have sold this island for millions but left it to the Seychelles government!

Visited Moyenne back in 2005 and had a fantastic day trip to this beautiful island.

We were lucky enough to meet Brendan Grimshaw who was a lovely man full of fascinating stories about his past and royal visitors to his home. You could of listened to him all day. His signed book is a treasured item. A true gent who will be never forgotten.

Good day out to visit all the island in the marine park. Did meet the owner, but he sadly passed away few months later.

This is one of the small islands in the Seychelles group and is now uninhabited having previously been the home of a slightly eccentric Englishman for many years. He brought in various plants and trees from other islands. He also brought some giant land tortoises who appear to be quite at home here. There is a short walk around part of the island for people visiting and a nice, if small, beach with water as clear and warm as a nice bath.
