Stayed in a suite last month, I have nothing else to say but excellent, you get what you pay (it's a bit pricey) but it deserves to be paid for such a nice time in Seychelles.

A private beach next to your room, good restaurants, nature, water sports, you have nothing to do but enjoy, the staff takes care of you all the time and they drive you in golf carts wherever you need in case you feel tired.

Manage your schedule well when going out or getting your flight, the hotel is about 40 minutes from the airport

Room Tip: I just tried the Suite and I wasn't disappointed at all

My husband and 8 other friends (5 couples) spent our 30th wedding anniversaries there. We were in the resort for 10 days (jan 25. to feb. 3, 2013). We had a great time there. We got a great 3 bedrooms familly villa and 2 senior suites on the north beach. Familly villa was a small paradise. It was extremly confortable with a living room which was excellent and we spent a lot of time there talking, watcing tv, drinking coffe,... It had a great swiming pool (8m long) and that pool was quite nice for morning swimming and refreshement throughout he day. Our buttler (unfortunatelly I didn't catch his name but I know it started with O...) was premier league. He really tried to fulfill our every desire and he cared for our villa with his personal touch. I also have to praise Rupert - responsible person for our group. He effectivlly solved all our wishes.
We had a HB and we tried all the restaurants in the resort. Food was extremly good in all of them but anyway I have to highligt Adam&Eve, Helios and Seselwa. All food we ordered was of a high quality and very tasty. The only remark we had were prices for wine. They are extremely high. It's better to go outside the resort and buy some bottles of wine for evening drinks.
The north beach is much nicer for swimming than south one. There are enough sunbeds and clean towels are awailable throughtout the day. There was only a shortage of a cold drinking water at the beach served complementry. We did some snorkling and 10m from the beach is a coral reef with hundreds of different colours of fish. It was seen like a video clip on the National Geograpy chanal. I advise also an easy jungle walk to Rosa Lepa within the resort. You walk the jungle and observe a giant trees and magnificant coast.
We visited the resort Spa center as well. It is one of the best I've ever seen. The spa manager Stephany is a special person. Warm, soft, extremlly well qualified and a very good therapist. I recommend her holistic treatment, it's something special. Also recommend a joga trenning.
We spent one day traveling round the island with a minibus of a Mason travel agency. It was extremlly confortable and the driver knew lots about the island. Once we took a local bus to visit Victoria. I recommend this experience. I felt very safe and locals wewre very friendly.
The only minus during our hollidays was weather. We had 4days of a rain and we would preffer having more sun but unfortunatelly the hotel couldn't solve that problem, so far -:))
Overall I strongly recommended this Constance Ephelia resort to all those, who wish to have a quiet, comfortable stay, good food, first class service, breathtaking nature, magnificant coast = unforgetable hollidays.

Room Tip: It should be on the Nort beach; familly villas with 3 bedrooms are very comfortable; take ground sen...

We stayed between 13th-20th December 2012, in a 2 bed Spa Villa. If you request a 2 bed family villa they offer you a Spa villa. We were not disappointed, we had our own sauna and steam room and the villa pool was approx 15mtrs long so you really could swim lengths. Each villa has walled grounds and is thoughtfully positioned within the tropical landscape to maximize privacy. We had my mother-in-law with us so the layout of master bed with Jacuzzi bath and a further bed with en-suite shower room worked well. Your own villa host ensures that all your beverage, food and activity requirements are fulfilled. This is a large resort but we felt like we were the only residents there. If you are feeling lazy then electric club cars are available but other than the hillside villas the whole resort is situated on a flat valley. There is a good variety of restaurants, we preferred SESELWA and for more formal dining you must try CYAN, all are very good though. We have stayed over the years at both Beau Vallon Bay hotel and the Banyan Tree but this is by far the best resort with the best service. We feel that this the most attractive part of Mahe, the landscape is outstandingly beautiful. The most important fact is the beaches and i have left this to the end. The North Beach is world class, the best on Mahe and the South Beach is so much BETTER THAN EXPECTED!. Go and see for yourselves

We spent an extremely memorable ten days in this hotel.
Upon arrival we were shown into one of the junior suites on the first floor, which had a very depressing view on the withered shrubs. This was absolutely not what we came 7000 km for. The manager offered to replace the room on the next day as they were fully booked, but from past experience I know for sure that "it’s now or never" case. After our definite refusal to move into the first room, we were promptly led into the room #221, which was marvelous. The rack rate for junior suite was 500 EUR (HB basis). Allow another 1500 EUR for extras, like drinks and spa.
The grounds were terrific at the time of our visit, however with the help of an extremely vigorous landscape manager the Garden of Eden stands a good chance to become a Wadi Rum desert in the near future. All over the premises there were fresh stumps and the landscape team seemed to be constantly fighting with the branches of the still standing trees. However, the new trees were not planted.
The south beach is very shallow. At high tide, which appears to be very early in the morning (5-6 am), the water is only 2 m deep at the maximum in the whole lagoon. The rest of the day it’s ankle-deep. The north beach is deeper, but beware of pieces of corals.
Our best dining experience was at Adam&Eve restaurant at Lobster night. We also tried Seselwa and Helios, but most of the time dined at the main restaurant Corossol. Except for Adam&Eve the food is everywhere basically the same. Considering the fact that all goods (even fruits) are imported, the quality and variety were incredible.
There is a free of charge channel with great choice of movies and the hotel also provides some daily activities, like cocktail class and turtle feeding. It turned out to be extremely helpful that they have a doctor on spot. We didn’t pay anything for the visit and the medicine we bought from the doctor was fairly priced. The hotel also provides a shuttle-bus service to Victoria, however you have to pay for it.
The only drawback was a weird AC system in the rooms. The temperature won’t go below 23C even at night. During one of the sleepless nights I asked the operator at 2 am to send someone to fix the problem. In line with the tremendous general service a technician appeared in less than 10 minutes to check the AC. The verdict was that it was working properly. Some weak explanation ensued that the lower temperature can not be reached because the AC system in the hotel is dependent on the water supply. I am still trying to figure out what it can mean.

Constance Ephelia was by far luxury at its best. The 2 bedroom villa that we stayed in had its own private pool and sauna. The bedroom consisted of a king size bed beautifully decorated with flowers when we stepped into the room.

The bathroom was huge with a jacuzzi fit for 4 people. There was also a swing bed facing the pool that was indeed comfortable to lay in.

We were also greeted in the living area with a huge flat panel T.V. with a Mac computer attached. On the screen we were welcomed with "Hello Mr. Jones"

The food was great and so was the staff. Here are just a few tips that I learned while staying there:

- biggest spa in in the India Ocean
- 40 senior suites
- only resort that offers zip lining in Seychelles
- largest resort in Seychelles.
- 9 Hillside Villas with a view of the ocean.
- tortoise feedings at 4 everyday

We went there in january with our 16 months old daughter. We had a junior suite with access to the garden. We fully enjoyed our 10 days stay at constance ephelia where we felt like in paradise! The staff is really friendly and helpful.
Before our trip we were a bit concerend when we read in trip advisor that the north beach, the nicer one of the two beaches (according to the reviews), was far away (2 Km) from the junior suites. However we did not regret having booked the junior suites because we liked the area around south beach much more than the one close to north beach. The pool areas at south beach are really nice. I personally liked the beach in the south more because there is usually no one (everyone goes to north beach) and therefore you feel like on your own private island in paradies. However you cannot swimm at south beach, its more like sitting in your huge private bath tub in paradies. But we really enjoyed it. Noth beach is more busy and its recommended to take a buggy to get there. Most of the time this was no problem and we got on a buggy within max. 10 minutes. However one evening it was pouring and we had to wait 30 minutes for a buggy to take us to a reastaurant at north beach.
We also liked the daily activites the hotel offers for free, so even on a rainy day you can participate on a cocktail mixing class or take salsa lessons.
We can recommend this hotel to anyone, also to families, the hotel and staff are really child friendly. Service, room, restaurants were to our full satisfaction.

I stayed at the Constance Ephelia this month January 2013 for 5 day and I have to say that for somewhere that touts itself as 5 star I was utterly disappointed. There was a group of us that stayed in a range of Junior suites, Villas and Hill-top Villas, so we saw the full range of their services. The rooms and furnishings were adequate but lacked a few of those basic extras - An Iron and Ironing board for example had to be requested and we were told they had "run out". The room service isn't 24hours in the Junior suites, only villas which is absurd, seeing as the restaurants close by 11pm and being a secluded location you cant very well eave the grounds to find food (!). The variety of the food and restaurants was impressive but the quality left a lot to be desired. I have to say the most disappointing part was the length of time wasted waiting for service in any of the room categories - Simple things like extra towels, having a shirt steamed (as no irons in the rooms/they ran out), ordering food took a very long time. I am all for island time but it was ridiculous. The one good thing about the resort was the staff who were on the whole friendly and very apologetic for the poor service.

I will not be recommending this resort to anyone of my "friends" nor will I be returning. I went and stayed a few nights at the Le Meridien Barbarons about 7 km away and I would highly recommend that you save some money and stay there. The service was excellent the suites are FULL EQUIPT and everything runs 24 hours.
