“Tired Hotel with Tired Employees”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2012

Great location, and obviously a superb piece of property right on the lake. But the rooms need a thorough refurbishment. Doors to the rooms are hollow-core, so noise flows right through them. There's just no esprit de corps. I wonder when they last washed/cleaned the rug in the bathroom (I didn't want to walk on it). They give you water (nice) and chocolates (but what year were they made?). It's a hotel that welcomes weddings and groups, which is fine; but that doesn't excuse them from taking better care of their investment. The breakfast buffet is just okay; cafeteria food with a woman who does eggs to order, but on the second day I was at the hotel, neither the hostess or the cook were there until 15 minutes after the restaurant opened. That kind of sums up how the management is lacking. Would I return? Not until they pull things together.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side are probably quieter. On the north side, you may be subjected to overly loud...

Stayed with family for three nights. Rooms is not very large but comfortable. Had great view of lake. Food was fantastic -- both breakfast and supper. Staff is extremely attentive. You can ask for baby food any time of the day (vegetable soup) and within minutes it arrives. Pool and beach were charming. All in all, a nice place for a relaxed family vacation.

We came with a special needs child. As we had arrived we asked for understanding concerning special food and service. The manager came and promised that everything would be taken care of. We got excellent service, special diary dinner- as half of the family are vegans, and all of this with a smile!
The room had a view to the kineret and the location was good enough as we travelled by car.

Its a lovely property right on the beach. The dining room food was excellent and i really liked the atmosphere. Although there were many families, it was still quiet and peaceful. ( no unruly kids running around aimlessly). The management are very hands on which is probably why it was such a pleasant stay. The caliber of the clientle is noticeably different here, posh cars in the parking lot !

Room Tip: When booking the room i suggest getting either full or half board .

although the hotel is very old, the atmosphere is nice. the staff is very friendly and helpful. the pool has nice view. the variety of food in the main restaurant is ok but the restaurant in the pool offers very small selection.

Room Tip: ask for the newer building (not the one on top of the spa)

Very small rooms mediocre dining room and food. It was our anniversary and had informed the hotel not even a card from the management bottle of wine or box of chocolates. Only nice thing for us its on the lake and the restaurant manager who was smiling!

Well we were only 2 nights but it was enought. The pool is small, the Kineret beach was nice so we mostly were there. The room was big minus: beds were bad, we cannot open window because of noise of air conditioners and also our air conditioner started to leak at second day. The food was good and the staff was trying to provide good service. The area is clean and with a lot sofas and swings.

Room Tip: Try to ask for high floor and normal bed.
