Great location, and obviously a superb piece of property right on the lake. But the rooms need a thorough refurbishment. Doors to the rooms are hollow-core, so noise flows right through them. There's just no esprit de corps. I wonder when they last washed/cleaned the rug in the bathroom (I didn't want to walk on it). They give you water (nice) and chocolates (but what year were they made?). It's a hotel that welcomes weddings and groups, which is fine; but that doesn't excuse them from taking better care of their investment. The breakfast buffet is just okay; cafeteria food with a woman who does eggs to order, but on the second day I was at the hotel, neither the hostess or the cook were there until 15 minutes after the restaurant opened. That kind of sums up how the management is lacking. Would I return? Not until they pull things together.
