we were here with a group of Retireds,we want to say we get a great service from every one in the hotel from the receptionist to the managment people.
They made us feel very good, just like family.
- Free Wifi
- Breakfast included
We enjoyed very much of their stay, amazing views, luxurious room and excellent food.
Hotel offers close proximity to Christian sites. Including of course, the beautiful Sea itself. The hotel is comfortable. But we found the service to be just so so. The staff was efficient but not very cordial. Our room offered a fantastic view of the Sea of Galilee. The sunrise was spectacular. Nice bed. Bathroom was small and in need of a remodel. A/C worked great and the room was clean. Really no complaints of any large degree.
The location of this hotel on the shore of Lake Gallilee is good and so was the view from our room. But, I have to agree with another reviewer, this is indeed a tired old lady in need of a new dress! The room was big enough with a teeny, tiny balcony, as well as a small seeting corner with couch and coffee table, but the furniture, bedcover etc are dated and unimaginative. The carpet was old and worn. The dining area is huge and there was a big variety of food of a good standard, nothing to complain about. There was only wi fi reception in the lobby. To sum up: good location on the lake and close to shops and restaurants.
good hotel,good stuff,i got a grat time!!
went with my wife to a quiete and relaxing vacasion.
the dining restaurand is very good with assortment.
Was with my husband in this hotel end of March 2012. We were travelling with a big tour group and all the hotels were booked for us. Not so sure if this hotel was chosen because of price, location or room availability. Probably all but the hotel seemed to be fully booked. The dining area which can easily sit 800 was always full during meal times.
I have no idea about the cost but I think the hotel was not so expensive relative to the other hotels in the same location. Location-wise, it was along the promenade or along the shore of Galiliee. Both sunrise and sunset were so nice to look at especially if you have a room in the higher floors with a balcony.
Unfortunately, we were given a room on the 4th floor. It was the first floor alloted for guest rooms. The ceiling was low for the whole floor, I would think that this was the hotel's mezzanine. The carpet was old, need change. The furniture and fixtures need refurbishing.
The room that was given to us was very small. The TV was bulky and the hair dryer was circa 70's - attached to the wall, yellowish already in color and very old. The only saving grace was that the bathroom was newly renovated hence the fixtures are still clean and gleaming.
There was no wifi. The one in the lobby only worked on our first night. Tip - there's a business center at the basement near the prayer room. The use of the computers are free and if you stay near to it, the signal of the wifi is strong and consistent.
The elevators were old, scary to use but it was working when we were there.
As mentioned by the others, the best thing about this hotel was its location. Very near a shopping area. There's a supermarket and a big pharmacy near the hotel aside from the restaurants and souvenir shops.
