“We love this place”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

It is so peaceful here. And I love fishing here. The city of Tiberius isn't much to look at but the sea is.

“An extraordinary day”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

A highlight of our trip to Israel was a day visiting the sights of Jesus' life and ministry - the Jordan River baptismal site, Nazareth, the Galilee region. We were blessed to have a wonderful guide, Shooki (shookimak@gmail.com), who was able to really bring the historical, social and political significance of the area to life in a way that was tremendously engaging and enjoyable. What a lovely, genuine man. And if you decide to use a personal guide (which I would highly recommend), ask them to drive you back to Jerusalem along the Jordan Valley, taking Road 90 - the view at the end of the day is simply stunning! It was a day that we will always remember.

“It is a lake, but when the name was given in biblical when the local people never saw a sea.”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

It is not the nicest lake in the world, neither the cleanest, the people are not the smartest, and the standard here is not the best in Israel. But this where Lord Jesus spends the best part of his life, and if you are a Christian this is once in a life time place you want to visit. See you soon.

“Beautiful Sea of Galilee”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

We had a rental car and took advantage of the opportunity to drive and visit the many historical sights all the way around the lake. We spent one day visiting all the places along the lake. On the second day we drove up into the Golan Heights and saw so many amazing sights! What a beautiful part of Israel to visit!

“Perfect for All”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Whether you are on a spiritual pilgrimage, a historical tour or just vacationing, the Sea of Galilee will have something to offer. It is definitely the highlight of the area. I was with a tour group and we were able to take a boat ride from one side to the other. It was truly a wonderful experience. The water can be totally calm one minute and then filled with white caps and waves the next. We got to experience that transition and it was most enjoyable!
