“Clean rooms, average service and food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2013

We stayed one night with a group. Staff is not welcoming. Rooms are rather large, clean and there is free wifi. The restaurant is a huge and noisy cafeteria with a buffet offering plenty of average food but unfortunately no fruits. C

We booked this through a tour group. It was a nice sized hotel on a Kibbutz. The room was comfortable and clean. We were in the "old" section so I don't know what the rooms were like in the new section. The food was good. The swimming pool was nice but there was no hot tub although there was a steam room. They had a speaker explain about the Kibbutz in the evening which was interesting. The location was a little isolated so you couldn't go explore the town but all in all, it was a good place to stay.

Room Tip: Get to the dining room at the beginning instead of the end. Otherwise, the food is picked over!

It is a very comfortable place to stay in. I had a large room (805) with a small balcony opening to sunset views. Free WiFi everywhere. Corridors are well decorated. The dining room was spacious with great varieties of food for breakfast and supper.

This kibbutz hotel was a pleasure. I wish I cold have stayed longer than 3 nights. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The grounds are huge, well kept and fascinating. Food was good, wifi works, desk staff helpful and polite. A true gem.

What a pleasure spending time at this establishment!
This is a fully operational kibbutz that has found a niche in the tourism market and has provided a superb answer to the average traveller's requirements.
The gardens and the surrounding area are beautiful. The buildings are relatively new and are fresh and well kept. Rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed.
Food was good and there was a wide variety to choose from and it didn't take me long to get used to the kosher rule of not serving milk and meat during the same meal.
Even the souvenir shop was reasonably priced.
I spent 2 nights here and could quite happily have stayed longer. Perhaps next time.....

We had room 407, some maintenance problems that the Management should have addressed, Toilet seat broken fixings ( we repaired at no cost), Shower safety grab handle loose on wall, this could be a major problem but should have been fixed by routine maintenance.
Room décor basic but OK.
Food, very poor Breakfasts & one evening meal was not eatable.
We would not return

We stayed at Kibbutz Lavi Hotel while hiking the Jesus Trail. It was a much needed break from more meager accommodations and we felt very refreshed after staying here. The rooms are nice, the view from our room was even better. Breakfast was pretty good, loved eating kosher. Staff was accommodating.
