“I really liked it”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2012

I loved the boat which was allegedly from the time of Jesus. It probably wasnt used by him but presented a good example of what boats of that era looked like. I thought the museum was nice though a bit pricey as I recall. I did spend a lot to time and $$ in the souvenir shop which I found a bit irresistable. I would recommend a stop here if you are on your way around the sea. It is also a good vantage point.

“well placed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2012

We attended a seminar in the village but did not stay at the facility.

The village is well located next to the Sea of Galilee and en route to many historical sites. There is a fishermans boat on exhibition that was discovered some ten years ago as well as Yigal Alon museum.

“So not worth it”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2012

Paid 20NIS/person to visited the Galilee boat museum and was disappointed! We were in and out in 15minutes.

The display of an ancient boat painstakingly dug up was well done, with a video screening on a blank wall to your right when u walk in. The boat itself was cordoned off. They were unable to confirm if Jesus actually used the boat, so if u were on a tight schedule like we were (1 day) don't bother
