“Disappointment...”
Reviewed July 23, 2012

We read the nice reviews and expected much better food! the food is average and nothing more, the restrooms were dirty and it's far from the city (about 15 minutes from the hotel's area of Tiberias). Not worth the effort. The service was professional and the atmosphere was nice!

“We felt like family”
Reviewed July 21, 2012

Our family of 8 felt like part of Sara's family. Both of my son's said that this was one of the best dinners we have had in Israel. Every course was served with love.

It is a litle hard to find, but well worth the drive from Tiberius. We all wished that we had stayed here, it was so nice.

“a good place for a small event”
Reviewed July 18, 2012

celebrating my mother in law's 75th b-day, we were 20, ranging age from 8-80. food was very good, generous portions, everybody had something to their liking. Israel was welcoming, warm and out-coming, the open kitchen is fun to watch, though those sitting close to it were very hot. all in all it was fun. a small swimming pool out side was a delight for the young ones. the toilets were dirty.

“Arbel Guest House”
Reviewed June 16, 2012

Best food ever! We love talking with Sara and Israel, ask about their family story. We took a two-day break on our backpacking walk of the Jesus Trail at their guest house and enjoyed their hospitality and restaurant very much. Planning to stay again next year!
