I cannot fault the hotel, clean and spacious rooms, spotlessly clean, linen changed every day. Wifi and LED Screen T.V with the BBC World Service. The only negative was no kettle or plug in the sink + only showers in most rooms.

The breakfast were very mediocre but the evening meals were great, a good choice & well cooked. The service is also fast and efficient if not overly friendly.

The hotelis only two blocks from the sea front and one from a Kosher Mc Donalds in case you get home sick lol

The main down side of the hotel is it is located next to a steel wholesaler who starts loading lorries and cutting steel around 07.00, not the quietest of activities.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms 0 to 20 on each floor as you are next to the steel works, much quieter the other end.

Nice room, flat screen tv with English language stations, Wi-fi and free use of computers in lobby. TINY bathroom (barely could stand inside and close door) and shower that leaked water all over floor. Nice pool and terrace area. Good coffee, but limited fruit and runny eggs on breakfast buffet. Dinner buffet could have been in a mid-western U.S. city-fairly bland and not regional food. Staff was friendly. Hotel is easy 10 minute walk to boardwalk along the Sea of Galilee and many little restaurants, stores, fishing boat, etc.

The first thing I look for in a hotel is cleanliness and security, and I rate both of these high for this hotel. There's a 24 hour clerk; the doors have an internal bolt lock; the rooms are clean; the paint and furnishings are new and not chipped.
On the down side, I felt that the food was too expensive on the dinner menu. Dinner is only served buffet style, so the food is not fresh-prepared for each patron. If you come early the food is of course fresher. But I felt that 80 shekels / $22USD was high for what you get. The breakfast buffet was good, and is included in the price of the room.
The Sea of Galilee / Kinneret is a 10 minute walk down the hill.
The hotel is across the street from the city bus station.
There are restaurants within easy walking distance. I'll recommend a place: As you look out from the hotel toward the bus station, walk to the left half a block to the first street, and turn right. Go half a block. On the left is a place with a yellow sign. It's open late and serves lamb or chicken shish-kabob with a half-dozen salad bar choices (various cooked veggies) for 25 shekels / $7USD which is a very good deal. We were there for 2 nights including the Sabbath, and the town pretty much closes down except down by the seashore, so I can't advise on any other restaurants, but there are several within walking distance. Also the open marketplace is just a 5 minute walk away -- turn right as you exit the hotel; the road then curves 90 degrees to the left, and in a block or two you'll be in the middle of it -- lots of fresh produce, clothes, etc.

Room Tip: There is a nice pool in the back of the hotel. I think that if you get a room facing the back, you...

The staff didn't seem to understand English, the bald guy that manages the restauraunt hounded us black pilgrims like we were going to take the silver. The food had good selection but the water served at tables is really bad.Water with thick consistency, hard to swallow. I love to keep hydrated and the three nights I stayed there was a nightmare because the water quality was terrible. The fruit served with meals were low grade. The bathrooms are really small but clean and the housekeeping is done on time. The elevator is really tiny and there are many people waiting for it. It is well located downtown with easy access to shops and pizza parlours.

Friendly staff, very clean - pool invaluable after a day in the sun - a base for piligrims and older tourists, there were only adults about. The refurbished rooms are well appointed, but no alarm/ipod dock so remember to bring your own. There is a supermarket / Kosher McDonalds within two hundred yards.
The food is typical buffet for breakfast and dinner.
No ice machine, but just ask at bar and they will facilitate.
Sockets accept euro two pins adaptors, US party at another table had been told their plugs would work.
Overall a great base

Room Tip: Ask for one of the rooms on the fifth floor, it has its own lift so was better at busy times

It doesn't charge your credit card as soon as you book it like other hotels in Israel do.
The room is big and comfortable, however, the bathroom is small. The pool is great and gym is good. You are a walk distance of the harbor, beach, restaurants, show of lights and etc. Important, it looks like a hotel of passage for groups traveling in Israel. I stayed there four nights and each day the hotel had a different large group coming and they are quite nosing. you may be visiting Israel for a religious matter and in this case if you are Jewish, although, the hotel tries to to present itself as Kosher with mezuzot in its doors, etc. the restaurant is not Kosher. I mean, they are not certificated as though.

We stayed in a number of different hotels in Israel and this one was the nicest. It was located a few blocks from the beach so it was maybe a 8-10 minute walk to get to the shops along the lakefront. The location of the hotel isn't the greatest, but you should be able to get a good rate to make up for it. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, and the buffet was really good. There is a small pool behind the hotel. We were on the 2nd floor and we were able to get free wifi (albeit a weak signal) in our room. Everyone in our (large) group liked this hotel.
