Excellent location. Superior rooms facing on to the Sea of Galilee. The spread of food is amazing at dinner and breakfast. Very friendly staff especially a young lady at the desk (she has been there only three months) who is great at making guests welcome! The manager kindly waived the US$ 5 per day charge for our entire group of 28 people for the use of wifi. These small things and personal touches matter. And so we will be back there soon!

Our room facing lake galilee was great apart from the bathroom which is in need of refurnishing.
The dinner was buffet style but almost all the food was either cold or lukewarm. Eat somewhere else, plenty of choices in Tiberias.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Location wonderful, infact brilliant.
Breakfast was a little chaotic as there seemed to be a number of coach tours staying - hotel seems to target groups and individual families like ourselves tend to lose out.
Might stay here again though the Scots hotel looked very nice.

The tripadvisor certificates of excellence displayed in the lobby are well deserved. The welcome, the staff, the ambience, the facilities, the food and the location are everything one could hope for. Most rooms seem to look out on the Sea of Galilee providing interest all day particularly at sunrise. Probably most foreign travellers staying here come for the sites that Jesus knew, travelling on a boat to Capernaeum, walking by the lakeside or taking a coach tour to many scenic places in Galilee or the Golan Heights, all within easy reach on the very fine roads. Wildlife abounds with kingfishers, doves and hoopoes in the grounds, a gecko on the front porch and lively prinias, egrets and many more birds on the lakeside scrub for a mile or two north of the hotel. This is surely a location anyone could feel at home in for days or weeks.

This was another part of our pilgrimage to The Holy Land and was an excellent, highly recommended hotel! It was very quiet, obviously due to its location.

We had an excellent room with a double bed, long desk type wall table, separate small table and an armchair. The end of the room has patio doors overlooking the sea. There were tea/coffee making facilities and a small fridge. The bathroom was very clean with copious amounts of shampoo, shower gel and soap.

There are gardens to walk in, a swimming pool and obviously the sea (although you aren't supposed to swim in it)

The restaurant provided a wide range of excellent food, buffet style and one of the owners was always present, hovering around making sure everything went well. There was a good bar upstairs from the restaurant with a good range of beers, wines and spirits.

Being picky, the only downside was the distance to our room as the corridors are rather long; we were only halfway down though!

Room Tip: Try and get one not too far down the corridor

I have just spent a few days in the Ron Beach Hotel, Tiberias. I wish I could have spent longer there. The situation is excellent. What sunrises and sunsets! The gardens are peaceful, unless there are children around. there is a swimming pool and you can swim in the Sea of Galilee from the hotel. The food was excellent. there was a tremendous choice for breakfast and evening meal. But the restaurant was rather noisy when full. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were a good size, clean and with tea/coffee making facilities. The rooms had balconies looking over the Sea of Galilee. After our boat trip we drew right alongside the hotel and just stepped into the hotel garden. It is also a good place to spot birds.
The only problem was an all night party on a Friday night/Saturday morning, I think somewhere in the Golan Heights. The noise was horrendous but it was out of the control of the hotel, and, unfortunately, they could do nothing about it.

All rooms in this hotel have a view over the Sea of Galilee.
How good it was to sit with coffee on the balcony after a hot journey here.
The rooms are spacious and well equipped
I had stayed here 4 years ago and saw alterations to the lakeside. After our boat trip the boat could return to the hotel steps, also it was much easier to swim in the lake.

Everything about the stay here was excellent from the enormous choice in the buffet to the great service provided by every member of staff

Recently returned from pilgrimage and stayed in 3 different hotels - Intercontinental Hotel in Bethlehem, Golden Walls Hotel (basic but good location) in Jerusalem and Ron Beach Hotel by Sea of Galilee. This is by far the best Wonderful view from the room facing the Sea of Galilee and Golan Heights. Saw natural display of thunder and lightning on the 1st night. After hectic 7 days of visiting all the Holy Sites, it is wonderful to spend the last 3 nights in this tranquil place. Amazing choice of starters, variety of Mains and Desserts - prefer to eat more of the starters than the rest. Free tea and coffees in the lounge - shame no herbal tea! Hope to return one day.
