“Nice view overlooking the Sea of Gallilee”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

As the cliffs are within a National Park take a good look at the opening hours, in particular off season.

“Stunning scenery”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

Until I came her I had no idea what marvellous scenery was around the Sea of Galilee. We walked up part of the Arbel pass and the scenery is stunning. I believe it's possible to walk all the way from Nazareth to the sea of Galilee via this pass amongst beautiful mountain scenery and suitable for the average walker. Possibly one for the future!

“The Cliffs of Arbel”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

For those who like walking a trail, the trail up Arbel passes the caves that have been used by prehistoric man, escaping Jews when the Roman conquered 2000 years ago, Crusaders, etc. From the top the view of the Sea of Galilee and all the surrounding farmland and kibbutzim is magnificent. It's best in early spring when the wildflowers are in bloom. The trail starts at the village of Wadi Hamam, just off the road from Tiberias to Ginosar. For those who don't like hiking, the viewing area at the top can be reached by car from Arbel Moshav

“Arbel Hike”
Reviewed November 23, 2013

Hiked to Arbel from Karnei Hittin, and then down to Magdala. The hike was wonderful, the view stupendous, and the National Parks guide at the entrance very friendly and helpful. I guided this hike with a group from Austria in August, and with a temp nearing 40 celsius, we were the only ones on the trail. The National Parks guide made sure everyone had enough water, and offered assistance in case of emergency. I highly recommend this hike.

“lovely lookout”
Reviewed November 1, 2013

This is a very easy walk for the whole family and one of our favorite spots in Israel. We always try to stop here when we are in the area. The view and rcokk formations are absolutely stunning. You can also use the clean restrooms, have a picnic or buy and ice cream.
