We stumbled upon Decks because the lights hanging above the water drew us in and were pleasantly surprised by the great view, fun atmosphere and seriously delicious grille options.

The staff is friendly, accommodating and attentive offering to get us and bring drinks quickly upon being seated (reservations were not needed on a Thursday night at 7:30 but having one ensured we had a great seat on the far deck overlooking the Sea of Galilee.

We opted for the filet and lamb chops and devoured them. Cooked perfectly and seasoned well, we could have had more!!

The ambiance is great - on the water with lights and city on the horizon.
The food is great, yes it's pricey, but meat in Israel is expensive and not usually good, the meat dishes here are all great.
I wouldn't recommend eating here regularly, the menu is limited and costly, but for a special night or after a swim in the Kineret as a treat, go to Decks.
Our only drawback were the cats that roamed freely and were attacking our clothing under the table.

The overall feeling was great, great food and awesome view of the sea of Galilee. the filet steak was great. the only problem was that we ordered two filet and the waitress brought us one fillet and a entrecot and refused to change the order after arguing for a while they agreed to give us the filet but charged us more for the entrecot. my suggestion is for them to write things down and review order.

This restaurant is so overrated that it's ridiculous- they serve meat or fish and you have to pay extra even for salad and chips- just so totally overpriced for what it is- certainly not a fine dining experience but at fine dining prices- someone is sat at the back counting their money and laughing- at us!!!!!

I'll start with the best first. Our family of six found all the food at Decks to be excellent and even though we didn't have the best seats in the house the outdoor experience is fantastic. Here comes the but. When we got there they had a large group and they "couldn't find our reservation", Service was very scarce, prices were high. But getting back to the food every dish was a home run. We had several appetizers the Onion loaf, fries, Focaccia, Israeli salad and all were very good. We had Entrecote, Fillet steak, and "chicken steak" all came prepared as ordered .The cold drinks Passion fruit and lemonanna were also very good. Nice bar and extensive wine offerings. If it is important to you we were told that much of the meat is Kashrut Rav Machpud. Would highly recommend because of the food and ambiance.
