The decks really has great food, the grilled meat (order different things, so it comes on a big plate) is fantastic and I have to admit that I never thought that a kosher entrecote could taste so good.
It seems that it is the place for family events/celebretions.
We saw a Bar Mizwah and also a Birthday celebrated there. This could maybe disturb other costumers because of the noise.
The Decks is a very big in a kind event restaurant, what I personally dont like so much. Everything comes fast and I prefer sometimes to sit for a couple of hours.. But after all I cant complain, -- one of the best (meat) meals I ever had. Also the wine was fantastic. (carmel selected edition, carignon was great)

Decks has it all - location, ambiance, energy, and great food. It is a covered, open air restaurant that juts out over the Sea of Galilee just north of Tiberias. The views cannot be beat. The food is outstanding - local fish from the lake and from the Jordan River, terrific salmon from Norway, and great steaks. It isn't cheap, but you won't be disappointed. Even though it is a very large place with lots of seating, it is hugely popular so make sure you have a reservation. After dinner take a 30 minute evening boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Ask the restaurant owner to call the captain of the boat and he might just come pick you up from the dock at the edge of Deck's restaurant. Otherwise, the regular dock is just a 5 minute walk.
