“Fabulous place for extended family stays”
Reviewed August 22, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We spent a wonderful extended weekend with our three married children and their kids - all in all ther were 18 of us. One family stayed in accomodation very nearby, otherwise 13 of us slept in the villa but of course all meals for the whole group were held at the villa. The villa is beautifully decorated in Morrocan style with a huge dining table and area which easily accomoidated us all. There is a beautiful courtyard where the kids could play as well as a partially covered rooftop where you can sit and watch the sun go down over the surrounding hills. The place is spotlessly clean and well maintained. If you are looking to spend some time in Zfat you are guaranteed a beautiful designed home with lovely amenities when you stay at Villa Tiferet.

Thanks for the lovely review and I am so happy you enjoyed. The house is ideal for large families, especially groups with grandparents and young children as there is room for all. And glad you enjoyed the sunset from the rooftop...that's our favourite 'Villa Tiferet moment'!

“Fabulous house, perfect for family getaway”
Reviewed March 27, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is beautiful, fully equipped, clean and welcoming. It slept all 13 of us comfortably. We gathered around the large dining table for meals and enjoyed sitting together in the large living area. Highly recommended.

Thanks Dahlia. So glad your family could all be together comfortably in one place! The house is great for large family gatherings; there's ample room for all to be together, especially around the huge dining room table. Hope you will come again. Nicole

“Hidden gem”
Reviewed March 12, 2016 for a stay in January 2016

Stepping through the heavy intricate metal doorway into the quaint courtyard took our breath away, despite the cold, rain, darkness and tiredness. And then we walked into the main house - Wow! Aside from being equipped with everything you could think of (and more) it is absolutely gorgeous. In fact I would have been quite happy to spend the day chilling in front of the log fire, with my son playing the guitar, than rush out sightseeing.

We were 9 people, so we took over the whole property. It was warm, comfortable and cosy.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Tzfat, whether summer or winter. In winter the log fire is amazing and I can imagine the courtyard and roof would be wonderful in the summer.

Thanks so much for the great review, Ilana. Your words capture the place well, especially your word 'wow'! And yes, visitors could come to Tsfat just to hang out in the house. It is large, cozy, so fully equipped.... (with either a toasty log fire in the winter or a sun-drenched rooftop in the summer), Villa Tiferet can be a destination unto itself!
Come again in the summer and you'll have a complete picture!

“This one-of-a-kind holiday house cannot be beat.”
Reviewed March 7, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

It had been a while since we last stayed here, and we weren't disappointed once again. Sitting on the roof looking at the beauty of Mount Meron, made us wonder why we had waited so long to come back.
Tsfat is a very special place, and the ideal location and the special ambiance of this one-of-a-kind holiday house cannot be beat.
We even went for a hike into Nahal Amud this time, experiencing such natural beauty so close to Tsfat was a perfect way to end our weekend. If you are going to stay in Tsfat, you must stay here.

So glad you came back. Each time guests return to Villa Tiferet, they discover a new, hidden secret in Tsfat.; and hiking in Nahal Amud is one of them. Just walk out the front gate of Villa Tiferet, go past the old cemetery and then descend, following the hiking blazes, until you reach a natural oasis by a river with pools of fresh, cool water. We're always happy to help you find a great trail nearby!

We had the pleasure of spending shabbat at villa tiferet in Tsfat. It was a wonderful family shabbat. The kitchen/diningroom/living room loan themselves to great family time. Cook or bring up food....the place is fully outfitted. I would definjitely like to find other opportunities to return.

“Love at first sight...Simply an amazing place to stay!”
Reviewed March 2, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

This is our second time staying at this villa.
We fell in love with the place after our first stay where we booked this home for a family reunion. Everyone who stayed with us was so impressed (it made us look like geniuses for finding such a great place!!)
It really feels like a home away from home...only better! The owners have put so much thought into every detail, whether it be from the welcome card and wine that greet you when you walk in, or the house slippers arranged in a basket by the front door or even the family games that await you in the family room - they've got you covered. We couldn't imagine staying anyplace else in the area. Can't wait to get back to "our" vacation villa in the north!

Thanks for the review, Jordan, and so glad you appreciate the small details. Maybe the fact that the house is so well stocked makes it feel more like a home away from home. And it also means that guests do not have to bring much with them when they visit. Your vacation villa in the north awaits you for your next visit!

“Spectacular accommodations for the family”
Reviewed December 20, 2015 for a stay in December 2015

This 400-year-old home is unique and special in so many ways. Highlights include a large modern kosher kitchen, high arched stone ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace with unlimited amounts of wood and a fully stocked game room and library. It was a great spot for a large family in an excellent location within a few minutes walk to the old city.

Hi Allison. A visit to Villa Tiferet in December begs for a crackling fire in the fireplace...and roasted marshmallows! There is nothing like sitting on the cozy couches beside the warm fire. Choose a few games from the library and you're all set for some quality family time. That's what vacations are all about!
