I found the atmosphere a little dark and depressing, but the bread basket was really good.
A warm home-made pita, and a couple home made crispy dark rolls, with soft whipped butter.
Although I'm not a shakshuka fan, the mix was tasty, with onions and peppers, tasting almost like a stew. We didn't order anything else, although one table over they ordered a platter of fruit and marshallows, with chocolate fondue, which looked wonderful.

In rosh Pina's old / historical area.. not much in the way of coffee shops or restaurants here which is why many people end up here.. very average place, below-standard service and an urgent renovation in need...

Though the place is known as a chocolatere the breakfast is a true delight. Inside its a bit dark though some years ago we didnt mind. We sar outside and liked it.

Wandered over to Shokolata after Auberge Shulamit and ordered some dessert. It was outrageous. We waddled out happily stuffed with cheesecake and chocolate souffle. Must go.

We were happy to find out that more than a few food venues are open in Rosh Pina on a Friday night. We chose Shokolata, as it seemed like a pleasant place, especially with kids. We chose only sweet dishes, as this is evidently their specialite` which was a fine choice indeed. The hot chocolate is superb, as were the truffles (served with wonderful sauce and fresh fruit). Only problem was the random service, which cost the restaurant two cancelled orders and two nervous kids aching for a glass of water. My guess is that the quality of the food there is consistent, while hoping that the quality of the service is not, so my bottom line is definitely a recommendation to try it out, especially if you are a chocolate lover.
