Don't get me wrong. It's a lovely place with great views overlooking the Sea of Galilee. However, this place needs some serious updating. The rooms are large and decorated with antiques but this won't appeal to everyone. As noted by another reviewer, it's rustic. The food in the hotal restaurant is only dairy within the expectations of Jewish dietary restrictions. However, it is great!!! There is also a well known meat restaurant on the grounds. They grow many of their own organic vegetables and have a working farm including animals. The spa services were great. There is a gentleman who provides a great Thai massage. However, compared to our expectations from the American spa experience, it was disappointing. The staff are helpful but not overfriendly to Americans. The primary folks staying there were Israeli so be forewarned. So it may be the best spa in Israel but pales in comparison to many American spas.

This was our second stay at this cute rustic spa hotel. The staff are very friendly & the service is excellent.
The location of this hotel offers great views & the early morning power walk in the adjacent gardens are very invigorating. We were on a half board basis & there was plenty of amazing quality food (non meat) on offer. However the evening buffets serve excellent fish dishes. There is a separate meat restaurant at an extra charge). The small gym & covered pool are adequate. I ordered a great massage. There is a tea bar which seems to be on tap 24/7.. The rooms were comfortable & we slept well. I suggest you bring a good book & sit in one of the lounges or decks or gardens & relax for a few days.. No young children are allowed so as not to spoil the tranquility. We will go back soon.

Room Tip: If you have spare money upgrade to a suite. But our basic room was great. Just keep the windows shut...

We only stayed 2 nights at Mitzpe Hayamim but we enjoyed it very much. And this is a place we would like to come back. It is a personal hotel with a nice atmosphere. I had a nice large room, large bathroom. Everything clean and working fine. Lots of greenery/plants indoors and also around (you are on a working farm).
We did not try the other menu restaurant because the buffet diner (vegetarian and fish) was so good! So we ate there both nights.
We did not have much time for the swimming pool (it is indoors) but is a large pool, good to really swim in. I had a massage which was very good.
There are tea corners where you can make your tea and in the afternoon you can get tea and cake in the lobby.
One morning I tried the aqua gym in the pool and it was fun to do. They have various classes during the day.
So really a good place to relax and treat yourself well.

Room Tip: The only thing I did not like about my room is that it had a small glass window in the door that let...

The atmosphere is wonderful in this hotel. Already at the entrance the smell is so good it's the hotel fragrances. The tea corner is always inviting, with a plenty of choices. The sound of the water in the patio and yard is relaxing. All of these contribute to a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are large; we stayed in room 330 Mini Suite. 2 large rooms! The bathroom with Jacuzzi and separate shower is very large too.
The food in the restaurant is partly organic, crops grown on the farm. Most cheeses are made in the farm as well, all delicious! The tasty pastries every morning also from the bakery they run in place. The treatments at the spa were absolutely professional! The spa area is very clean and relaxing. We sure will go again and, again. I think it's the best resort in Israel.

Room Tip: I always stay at the main building. The rooms are large! If you are tourist ask a room with a view t...

In overall my stay was and the SPA experience was great and Oren was amazing.

However, there were few things that made my stay as well as that of my friends less enjoyable. The lack of service was appalling and it continues also now after I took the time prior to check in to give my comments and to send a detailed email to customer relations, which NO ONE took the time to answer :/

I'm taking about mere service like providing the customer checking in with help, information that are correct and a room that is clean and not dusty and full of mosquitoes. Don't take me wrong we loved out mosquitoes game but half an hour would have been enough. Only after complaining in the middle of the night we were given electrical devices (if that is a recurrent issue why not provide it at check in?)

Bottom line: Mitzpe Hayamim is far from being the amazing property I remember.
I would still recommend it but be aware!

It is a wonderful location, calm and peaceful.Food has changed and not for the better. No special corner for people who keep a diet as in every hotel, though Mitzpe Hayamim claims to be health hotel. Most food ingredients are local products which is very nice.
Special activities make stay fun.
Muscat restaurant too expensive ,can not replace regular menus.

Pay for it!

The place is charming, located in a green surrounding. We enjoyed walking among the trees, plants and farm animals every morning. Morning and evening buffet very rich and quite suitable for everyone who can manage without meet. Wonderful view from the outside Jacuzzi. We had two relaxing days with good massages. Highly recommended for adults.

Room Tip: We like the garden rooms
