Run by the wonderful Shulamit, this B&B turned out to be an excellent selection. My wife and I came by for 3 days and were immediately struck by Shulamit's concern for our comfort and touring time in Rosh Pina. The house, room and yard are impeccable, both in cleanliness and in taste, with antique decorating touches everywhere. Shulamit insisted on sitting down with us upon our arrival and working out where and when we should go in the area (there is a lot to see there), handing out discount cards for some places! She lent us a travel book and map. We did not want the optional breakfast so we just had a quick breakfast of bread and butter (our usual) in the gorgeous back patio overlooking an orange grove. What a relaxing and wonderful place! - Tim & Wendy

Shulamit and her Yard - better, her Courtyard - proved ideal for our short stay in Rosh Pinna.
Clean, large room in the former stables block; pleasant outlook to the orchard and to the courtyard; all necessary amenities and creature comforts.

Shulamit extended a warm personal welcome and helped us with local travel ideas, maps and a genuine interest and care for our welfare while her guests.

Shulamit Yard did not disappoint -- we had a lovely stay. Pros: unique historic buildings converted into a pleasant B&B; Shulamit, the owner and proprietor, is a warm, caring person who is there to make your stay great; the location is quiet and scenic; attention to detail is evident in the selection of teas and home-baked goods; the small pool in the center of the interior courtyard was a real plus (although a little cold for us). Rosh Pina is a good location to make day trips to larger area. Our highlights were Mount Bental on the Golan and the Hula Valley bird experience. We would definitely return if in the area again.

I stayed at Shulamit Yard towards the end of October 2012. I booked two rooms -- one for me and one for my parents who were visiting Israel from the US. I was originally attracted to the place by the very positive reviews on TripAdvisor, and I was not disappointed.
My initial contact was via e-mail to inquire about vacancy. Shulamit, the owner of the establishment, responded quite quickly and confirmed there were indeed two rooms available on the dates requested. I followed up by calling her cell phone number, which she had provided in the e-mail. She provided further details, putting my mind at ease that it would be an appropriate place to spend two nights with my parents (who have their own minimum demands for accommodation!). Less than a week later I called her back to actually confirm. Confirmation did not require a credit card. And Shulamit said payment would be by cash. I must admit this was a little annoying, as I prefer not to travel with cash. It also raised slight alarm bells regarding the legitimacy of a place that works on a cash basis. However, this latter point ceased to be of concern when she provided a legitimate invoice/receipt immediately upon actual payment.
On the day of arrival we called Shulamit about 15 minutes before our actual arrival. As we pulled up to the place, her "second in command" was waiting right in front and directed us into the available parking space. This was a great surprise, because otherwise we would have just parked on the street.
Shulamit Yard, if I understand corretly, is one of the original homes of Rosh Pina. It has been renovated, maintaining its original charm. The first building you walk into from the street was the original living quarters, and the back quarters where the rooms are were the original stables (completely renovated). In between these two buildings is a fantastic courtyard that is so peaceful and quiet. Quite a strong (and welcome!) contrast from the hustle and bustle of central Israel.
The rooms were spotless, and brilliant in their simplicity. There was no television, or phone; but instead a terrific balcony off the back overlooking an orchard with a few trees, and happily chirping birds. Within a few minutes my parents had walked over into my room to say congratulations on picking such a wonderful place to stay.
In the morning we had a wonderful breakfast in the courtyard. Shulamit and a helper served us on a picnic table covered with a linen cloth. There were various cheeses from local dairies, salads, crepes, and many other surprises. Several of the fruit and vegetable items were actually grown there on location!
Overall, we could not have been more pleased! Rosh Pina is a very convenient location for touring the Golan Heights and Galilee regions of northern Israel. And Shulamit Yard was an absolute pleasure to stay at...

Room Tip: The upstairs rooms have a wonderful balcony overlooking the orchard in the back!

We arrived at Shulamit Yard, a family of 5, and found a warm, inviting villa -- with beautiful accommodations, an inviting courtyard with a beautiful and ecclectic collection of antiuques and an delicious and bountiful breakfast every morning. As an added bonus, Rosh Pina is a special town, and a great base to ecplore the northern regions of Israel. We would return to Israel just for a stay at Shulamit Yard if that were possible!

Room Tip: We had rooms on the first floor with private patios and access to the lovely garden in the back with...

Our amazing experience at Shulamit's started over the phone a day prior to our arrival. Having last minute plans, Shulamit went out of her way to accommodate our needs (4 adults, 2 children) and to make us feel welcome during the busiest season in Israel. Arriving at her place after a long day of hiking in the Galil was like landing in heaven. Shulamit is so nice and professional. She waited for us, gave us a comprehensive tour of the beautiful facility, was extremely patient with our kids who immediately started to run around, jump to the pool and eat all the food that was out there free for the gusts to snack on. The rooms, yard, pool and house were extremely clean and inviting. We did not want to leave the space for dinner or to continue our trips. And the breakfast, there are no words to describe the variety, deliciousness, flavorand presentation of this meal. We could not stop eating and we could not stop talking about it for days. We will go to Shulamit yard every time we are in Israel, next time for a longer stay. A real gem in Israel that is so worth a trip to the north.
