... try it. The place is noisy and usually crowded. This means the locals love Shemesh and you may love it too, especially if you like classic Mediterranean fast food. Their meals are decent, service is quick and outdoor seating (a couple of tables on the pavement) is unpretentious.
On the other hand, Shemesh is overhyped and your humble servant (being a local) can easily find a quieter place to get his shawarma-in-pita and some salad. For a tourist, this is a safe bet - just in case you're stuck in the midst of Ramat Gan.
