We were referred here by our innkeeper in High falls, just 10 minutes NE of the restaurant. As it was a Wednesday night, we were able to get in without reservations. I ordered one of the autumn "small plates" which was lobster and angel-hair pasta without any sides. When the dish arrived, I was surprised with the amount if lobster claw meat - twice what I expected for $14. My husband raved about his Chicken Parmigiana. The meal and the service were fantastic, so when we received the bill, we asked the waitress whether reservations were needed for Fridays. Glad we booked because the place was packed in Friday. Lots of locals come in and visit (with great gusto!) at the bar while waiting for their table. One of the best meals we had, yet from the outside, you'd expect beer & bar food.
