Fauzi Azar Inn by Abraham Hostels

Almost everything here is done well. The building is a classic Arab House, which has a large courtyard and two storeys of rooms. The doors are hand crafted and the beautiful ceilings hand painted (beautiful designs). The beds, mattresses and duvet all good quality and well maintained. Toilets are always an issue in old buildings but here I think they have done the best possible. Breakfast is substantial and offers a taste of genuine local food. The kitchen staff are very enthusiastic about their work. Reception has many young and friendly volunteers. My only reservation was the way one manager spoke to a volunteer, a tone which was at odds with the whole atmosphere of the place. Highly recommended.

We were in Nazareth for 3 nights and our stay at Fauzi Azar Inn made all the difference. A beautiful old stone house full of character, with charming courtyards, arches, sofas, cushions and comfortable spacious rooms.

We loved everything about this place but if there is one thing I would improve it would be for the kitchen staff to ensure that there is always hot water for tea and that fresh coffee is available during breakfast time.

Great staff, in particular Suraida, who went out of her way to offer her assistance on more than one occasion. We are very grateful for her help.

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the old city. We had great meals and drinks at the restaurants nearby, especially Tishreen and Sabah w Masa.

Look forward to coming back again!

Spent a night with my wife and two teenage children in a large family room. This place oozes character, charm and history. The accomodations while somewhat rustic were more than adequate for our needs. The mutinational staff was friendly , courteous and extremely helpfull, A great breakfast was served in the morning and the icing on the cake was a talk with the owner aboutr the history of the building and then an alternative tour of Nazareth's old marketplace with Linda, whose energy and enthusiasm was inspirational. My only regret was not having more time to spend there. Certainly left a taste for more.

marvellous interieur, perfect service - definately a place to spend more than one day! one can relax, enjoy the fantastic atmosphere or take part on guided tours. plus, it's located in the middle of the old city, near the markets and main touristic sites like the basilica or the white mosque - highly recommend it!

You must stay here if visting israel.

The hostel was the best I have been in in israel, i felt so at home and so comfortable. I had the best nights sleep, and afternoon naps in dorm 7, the waterfall outside is very relaxing

The free cake, free internet, and free tour is a big bonus. Great location to everywhere, very helpful staff and i never felt unsafe walking home late at night. The showers were clean, you were given clean towels every day

Room Tip: pick a room downstairs so you dont have to walk up and down the stairs too often

I will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: top floor has very quite rooms.
